Is it me or does grouping up force the matchmaking system to match you way over what you're capable of? Seems whenever I have a group larger than 2, we get shitstomped nearly every game. Our win rating must be no higher than 30%.
Well, played OW all day to get some final boxes and didn't get American McCree or the spray I wanted. I guess I'll have to wait another year. :v:

I guess after the season ended, quickplay got saltier? I played almost exclusively comp during season 1 and now I figured I can hop on quickplay, fuck around, chill and have fun until season 2. People are still really tryhard and it's annoying. This dude told me to uninstall at the end for some stupid reason, and both my team and the enemy's team started talking shit back and forth to each other, like really?
I played a few games and one match our entire team went attack characters. I went healer and asked someone to go tank and I was told "it's quickplay who cares". I responded telling him that since there's no competitive mode in the live game right now, it's all there is, to which he responded "then don't play".
So rude. :pudge:
It's amazing the difference some extended flick practice makes. I spent 20 minutes in the practice range with McCree and then jumped into some quick play it just felt so good to be hitting shots. I don't think I'm the best aimer which is why I stick to tanks and healers but if you're not practicing with McCree a few times a week you should. You will aim way better with everyone.
I'm going to try and get two more boxes today.
If I don't get that Genji Nihon skin, I'm going to fucking scream.
But at a reasonable volume.

I'm not proud, but since it's the last day, I caved and bought 24 lootboxes. I got a ton of duplicates -- 4 of the same Lucio emote -- but at least the one Tracer skin I did want. Overall, I'll never do it again, and I'd recommend buy boxes except as a last resort. The regret is eating me a bit.

This is why Blizzard sees the summer event as a "big success". I impulse bought crates too and instantly regretted it.

Anytime this sort of thing happens I just start checking my highlights. Usually while the highlight is loading or starting it connects to a server. I don't know why that works but it does.
I know it's just PTR but what's the point in joining a match and then just spamming the F key for the entirety of the 10 min. Don't you have anything better to do?
A player that picked Mercy literally named Mercy would just jump around, sit down in a random spot and spam F on everything.

It's not like item unlock in overwatch are "that" greedy. TF2 has it worse. TF2 has SO MANY EVENT ITEM nobody can obtain or big bullshit like the halloween item where you also got the chance to drop a 2009/2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015 item + the new halloween item for this year. The mann co crate are a big greedy bullshit in which you need to pay for a fucking key for a chance to have a worthless strange and nobody EVER complained to valve about it because "Hat drop" but those hat drop VERY rarely and most of the time they're worth nothing on the market.
So be HAPPY that overwatch doesn't have the same ITEM SYSTEM as TF2

Definitely, TF2, CS:GO and Dota have the worst item system I have ever seen in any game. It used to reward players for investing time in the game like in Overwatch (at least in TF2), but now it's a cash grab. You can't get anything without money, the trading system only allows you to trade at a loss, and everyone is a massive joke when it comes to discussing trades.
My point is, if you survived 7 years of TF2 you'll have trust issues with item drops in any subsequent games.
What pisses me off is that these skins will be available again next year, but it'll just be us doing this all over again.
Fumbling through boxes, grinding, trying to get skins, and still, even after waiting a [I]year[/I], we probably won't get the skins we want.
