His Ult just powered him up if I recalled and made the turret shoot faster.
Genji also had shields for health
There was more visible blood
Few other things
Bastion's turret form had a shield.
Genji introduced bleed in OW, if i remember correctly.
But it got scrapped because he was absolutely nuts along with the rest of his kit.

Ult made it so that upgrading didn't cost scrap

is anyone else getting barely above 40fps in areas where they used to get a stable 60? I'm having problems with that, and it's kinda putting me off from playing anymore.

Oddly enough they still have a tip related to this in the game. Something like, "Level 1 turrets are not very dangerous, but can be used to distract enemies and cost no scrap to make."

Torbjorn, Zenyatta went through some major changes with how his orbs work, Lucio used to do some serious dps.
Winston's barrier had 2000 hp.

I haven't been playing all that long but it seems some heroes get absolutely smashed whenever I use them against a good team. I mean maybe I just suck at them but the one that stands out to me is Pharah. I want to like her but you are so vulnerable in the air and the rockets are so slow... Like any Tribes player I love jetpack heroes but wow it is hard to get any real damage out with her, assuming you don't just get blown away immediately anyway.

Using Roadhogs gun felt so natural to me. I played a [I]lot[/I] of Unreal Tournament and his gun is pretty much a flak cannon with airburst secondary fire instead of a solid shell. Was very easy to pick up.

Bastion transforms from Sentry to Recon really fast. If he did the same the other way around he would definitely be more dangerous. I doubt that would save him from competitive players though. Needs something else... maybe if he could move very slowly in Sentry mode? Like Reinhardt with his shield up?
How to fix bastion:
Significantly speed up both sentry and recon deployments. Half a second
Allow movement during transformation back to recon.
Faster health regeneration
Maybe a small hp boost for his ult.
This turns in into a stationary defender into a more mobile flanker and surprise defender. Being able to move spots quickly to trick the enemy team and keep them on their toes.

I was actually disappointed when I found out his gun doesn't lob an explosive grenade as his altfire. But it still explodes into scrapnel, so it's all good.

Pharah is a bit tricky to play, and you might want to avoid using her against teams with great McCrees and Widowmakers. For me it has usually worked to stay low and use her shift as an evade or to get a quick advantage, as staying up in the air all the time will make you an obvious and easy target. Her damage is astounding, but it also demands that you hit enemies squarely and know how to lead your shots to juggle them.
Use your concussion blast to either knock people off the map or make it hard to hit you, and don't wait shooting your rockets until you're up close as they have no damage fall-off. Similarly, avoid jumping straight up in the air when you do your ultimate, as the rocket travel time and spread makes it hard to take full advantage of the damage, and everybody will be able to snipe you the second you scream "JU-". Don't feel bad about using your ultimate to kill just one or two people, as secure kills are way better than risking getting yourself killed or not killing everyone.

I find that she can be very useful if you get [I]behind[/I] the enemy then attack
Sure that's a great tactic for any hero but for Phara is damn near essential her ult as well is much better in medium range than long
I have a terrible habit of boosting as high as possible then ulting and I barely get 1 kill.
Really you should use it like a shotgun and no higher than watchpoint Gibraltar's second story
