I get your point, the most effective strategy is usually to have your whole team ult at once and that can be repetitive. But there is skill in synchronizing ults and performing well enough to get them more frequently than the enemy
I just feel like coordinating your normal abilities and shooting the enemies with your gun would be more fun and take more skill than throwing your zarya and pharah or reinhardt and mccree ults into the same pile.

Do you not get kills or die without an ult involved? This just seems like a very strange problem to have with the game.
I really wish more people would coordinate ults. I try to whenever I've got one that goes well with other ults (like Zarya's gravity ball) but it's kind of hard over text and I'm not always able to use my mic.
soldier 76 should have a button that allows him to swing into the dva cockpit, blow her brains out and turn it into the dadmech5000, which changes his left click to fire two pulse rifles and his right click to fire dva's corpse at people the melee can be him swinging at people with her dismembered leg or something blizzard hire me

Man I love this Reaper-spray I got: [t]http://i.imgur.com/UR8eR0r.jpg[/t] Also, Lucio doing what he does best: [t]http://i.imgur.com/TuVSLpo.jpg[/t]
Am I the only one who thinks the fact that you cannot fly to teammates when you're healing as mercy, but only as your pocket, is dumb? Like it gets me killed more than it gets me saved, I'm aming at a teammate fifty meters away but no since I did not stop healing the guy next to me I get killed.

I sure hope Symmetra's next Legendary skin is going to be a flamenco dress or the sorts. They love mentioning that she's a dancer, but none of her outfits express that very well.
Sombra's either going to be a cloaked lithe figure with some techno-head dome or other method of concealment, or pretty much a decker from shadow run. i cant tell if its just salt or whatever, but i still feel like genji nerf really didnt do enough... i dont know, it just feels bad that genji is really the only one that can consistently take out either half your team or your entire team in a single ult, while other ults require better timing, team coordination, or are just straight up bad (eg roadhogs, sometimes it can be effective and actually do something, but you reaaallly need to have good timing to do anything with it, or get boosted by ana) other ults feel like theres something you can at least do about them before youre killed, like as mercy if a reaper ults or something near me i can quickly look around and find a further away teammate to fly to. genji? if im playing a support or something hes always gonna go for me first, and by the time the team has reacted to his ult, goes "oh shit hes ulting, figure out where he is and fight back or react with my own ult if i can do something about it", genji has already killed 2 teammates (probably your most important team members/supports) along with an ult like reapers, you can always hear him teleporting around, and a lot of reapers make it obvious theyre going in for an ult (approaching your team when youre all clustered together, flying in with his invincibility thing and just hanging around in the middle of your team) [editline]24th August 2016[/editline] it just consistently feels like overwatch should not be a game where a single person/hero can carry a whole team, but with genji thats exactly what he can do, and what i encounter a lot. you can say "oh he has counters and stuff, this doesnt happen with your team coordinating and shit or in competitive play", but literally every game has a genji just going balls to the wall fucking crazy and stomping my team. and i play a support, what the hell can i do about it? hes really just making me want to not play support at all, and supports are pretty essential
If your team needs more than half a second to realize Genji is ulting they should maybe invest in hearing aids
The main reason they can't overnerf Genji is because he has hard counters such as Winston, Mei, and Zarya. Why they cant nerf McCree more however, baffles the hell out of me considering he lacks hard counters.
If your team needs more than half a second to realize Genji is ulting they should maybe invest in hearing aids
the hard part is finding out where he is, taking all attention away from the rest of his team, and he still has his fuck crazy mobility that has his dash reset on every single kill no matter if its just an assist, can fly half a mile in a split second to catch up with anyone that is out of reach. it really doesnt matter if your team can react quickly enough, he'll still have always killed enough people within 2-3 seconds of ulting to make it worthwhile. it just also really doesnt help that i see him every single game, no matter if his team is on defense or offense. 20 something heroes in the game and i always have to see this motherfucker?
Yesterday we gave Overwatch to a friend who never played the game before I nearly stopped breathing after his 20 kills streak as Junkrat and is 20th kill or so by randomly aiming around with Hanzo and shooting

Heroes shouldn't be nerfed just because you are playing support and have a team that doesn't deal with flanking dps heroes. He doesn't need more nerfs than the ones he just got.

You just need to shoot at him. People get always mad about Genji ults because they always remember when they got killed but they never remember the times when Genji got cockblocked before he could even swing once.
The genji nerfs are effective. It's changed from being stuck vs an ulted genji and knowing you're going to die. To "oh. there's still a good chance my team mates can shut him down/I can evade him before he gets a chance to wipe/do serious harm"

Genji uses his ult and kills 2-3 dudes, it's a ult, it's supposed to do that in most cases. Junkrat can get 3-4 with each use if the JR is smart about how he uses it but it shouldn't be nerfed. Hell pop tranquility to counter it- there's literally no excuse as the duration got nerfed and you can now counter it easily with sound barrier/trans. As someone who mains Lucio and notices him gunning for me a lot if I hear him ult I push him back, swap to speed and seeya fucker I'm going up a wall now if my team isn't shooting the hell out of you. He doesn't have infinite swift strike so I can usually get high enough and Amp it up and get all my health back while wall surfing away from him. I knock his ass out with ana's dart *all* the time, zenyatta shuts his student down with discord (forcing him to reflect in almost every case as you'll kill him in 2-3 hits). Only one that's really in solid trouble when I play them is Mercy because her only escape option is dependent on teammates already running for the hills and not actually dealing with the problem. Woke up and wanted to look at the timer but the page isn't loading.
I honestly think Reaper's ult is consistently better than Genji's ult. Getting killed by Genji is just much more infuriating for some reason. At least now you can avoid it with Mei's Ice Block thanks to the decreased duration.
Genji talk aside are the blizz forums down?
pro players seem to agree that mccree is the most balanced hero in the game atm
idk his ultimate really suffers from that horrible delay when you go to shoot, its ruined so many kills for me, plus i think his footsteps are a bit too distinct for what amounts to just an offense hero. i suppose those are fairly minor gripes though
It doesn't refresh unless he gets the killing blow, unless this is some PTR thing anyway.
He only needs an elimination, nothing more. Never has.
pro players seem to agree that mccree is the most balanced hero in the game atm
I've heard the same thing said about Zarya. Even though completely lacking counters is probably one of the most broken things you can do in this game about counter picking. It must be complete coincidence that these heroes have ridiculously high comp pick rates.
Why they cant nerf McCree more however, baffles the hell out of me considering he lacks hard counters.
Because McCree's design is shit gameplay wise. If you decide to nerf his left click damage, he becomes awful. His roll is only meant to reload, he has awful mobility. They already balanced his right click which initially was OP to terrible (now it's fine, good enough to kill squishies but not instant kill to tanks and still good to break up shields). He is not the problem now.
Mccree doesn't really do anything but left click enemy players. He's really good at dealing damage and doesn't do much else. I see why pros pick him so much, he's just really reliable damage.
I've heard the same thing said about Zarya. Even though completely lacking counters is probably one of the most broken things you can do in this game about counter picking.
If your team needs more than half a second to realize Genji is ulting they should maybe invest in hearing aids
I've become pretty good at instantly turning towards the sound with Roadhog and hooking. Sometimes it hits and I one-shot the ulting Genji with "WTF" appearing in the chat, most of the times I hook air and get owned.
