Strange that the boat doesn't have an enter animation.
Anyone figured out if it's possible to manually clean mud off your weapon?
Was kinda hoping for that the moment I saw guns get dirty.
Anyone here who's already got the game can tell us whether or not they fixed the memory leak/CPU bug in the beta?
I remember having to set CPU priority for BF1 on high during the beta to get stable 60 fps and I hope they fixed that as doing so would fuck up mouse input.
Anyone else playing on Xbox and having the menu come up every few minutes pausing the game and saying "You have less than 10 hours?" It's getting really goddamn annoying.
what the hell is this lame ass update to geforce experience? i can't play the game until i update my drivers, i can't update my drivers until i verify this stupid account they force you to make all of a sudden, and the verification doesn't even fucking work
I wasn't planning on buying BF1 but I'm awfully tempted.

Things are looking good so far for the campaign?
So far, i'm actually having fun playing a BF game for once. I haven't played this much since bfbc2! Definitely one of the best BF game we have gotten for a long time. Operation is pretty fun although it can get pretty spawn rape(especially in Suez). Teammates are actually reviving me and giving me medkit, the light tank are so much easier to take out now, etc.
I was hoping we get to play in [I]Ballroom Blitz[/I] because i want to see what the american model look like and the campaign was alright to me, not too engaging. But all in all, this is an amazing game,

I loved it, I think the shorter little bits help with pacing a bit and not making things way too big for their own good.
I saw the Kolibri pistol in a video and it looks silly as fuck. So small your character holds it between his trigger finger and thumb. And it still plays the normal pistol running animation and it looks silly because the gun is so small.

I think it does like 5 dmg per shot.

looks like 2142 revive is finally dying. Just hopped on to an AUS server and only 17 people were on at 8pm
was fun while it was lasted. Definitely prefer it to newer BFs. Even if they make a 2143 it has to be a return to roots, if it's just BF4 reskinned then it's gonna suck

Several questions:
1. What is playable at 33% download?
2. Does playing the 33% thing take away from the 10 hours
3. Are the SP missions in chronological order, meaning it doesn't start in the middle of the campaign.

Really 2143 is where I see the series heading next. I mean it's either that, vietnam, 1942, or yet another modern game, and I don't see Vietnam being likely.
Wondering if I should play the MP or try the SP, decisions, decisions...

I have a feeling they might do a "soft" reboot of sorts, seeing as how the new menu UI works.
It supports Battlefield 1 (WW1), Battlefield 4 (Modern) and Battlefield Hardline (Cops vs Robbers), which leaves an empty space for WW2, Vietnam and futuristic and I could definitely see them do a new game in each of those time periods again to fill in those missing time periods in the new menu.
I actually think it would be a great idea cause the new UI lets you switch between each game without having to close and load up again, kind of like a "Battlefield Universe".

1: The prologue I think, don't take my word on that one.(didn't test)
2: Yes, probably. (didn't test)
3: If I've understood correctly You play different "mini stories" that take place across different times of the war. The first story takes place at the end if WW1.
4: No, if you got the trial maybe only download a patch or something.
About number 4, I don't think so since the entire game is downloaded for the trial. All levels and missions are included.

That's awkward. You could cancel the preorder, buy ea access, then rebuy BF1. You actually get a 10% discount off of game purchases with Access, so in fact you're still saving money, unless you preordered the game from Amazon or somewhere that has preorder discounts.

I got mine from tesco(supermarket) and I get discount from them as I work there
