Wondering if I should play the MP or try the SP, decisions, decisions...
They only give you the first 2 missions (story lines/plots) so I would do the SP; you can finish the SP segments they give you in probably in under 2 hours for sure if you rush it I mean just to get a taste of what it is like. It was a pretty good warmup to the game IMO set the mood straight.
I got mine from tesco(supermarket) and I get discount from them as I work there
Ah. [editline]13th October 2016[/editline]
[vid]https://giant.gfycat.com/KnobbySlushyElephant.webm[/vid] Yes.
Just imagine, in hardcore it only takes 2 mags to kill someone. DICE please nerf.
For some reason the launch option is blurred out for me despite still having 8 hours left on my trial :why:
Also if anyone hasn't seen it yet, you can get a unique 1911 skin if you get 100 kills with the 1911 in either BF4 or BFH. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/news/view/road-to-battlefield-1-incarcerator-mission/
Goddamn I can tell the SP is gonna be awesome. Short or not holy fuck
Well the minimum requirements are bullshit if anyone didn't already know. Playing at 1080p with a mix of high/medium settings, TAA turn on, and DX12 with an i3-6100, R9 380X, and 8gb of ram. Getting a near solid 60fps in full 64 player servers with no problem. Performance is much better than the beta as far as I can tell. I tried playing with the default high settings on and never dipped below 47fps, but that was only when there were a shit ton of mortar shells going off with multiple gas grenades being thrown at my team as we charged up a hill to capture some blown up church. The game is a lot of fun, but I think I'll just play my 10 hour trial and then actually buy it during a sale.
Several questions: 1. What is playable at 33% download? 2. Does playing the 33% thing take away from the 10 hours 3. Are the SP missions in chronological order, meaning it doesn't start in the middle of the campaign. [editline]13th October 2016[/editline] Really 2143 is where I see the series heading next. I mean it's either that, vietnam, 1942, or yet another modern game, and I don't see Vietnam being likely.
1: the game, well. sp is 2:yep, you start playing it 3: yep
mp isnt playable until 100%
Guys; are the ragdoll physics the same as the beta? This is info I need to know, that shit was fucking hilarious. Reminded me so much of the hilarity of ragdolls in BF2 with artillery
Question for anyone with a trial: Did they add customization options for the arty truck?

The EA Access build is not the final build right?
So I have been playing BF1 now for a few hours and I love it. No idea how to get Battlepacks or the Scraps you need for them tho. The SP is great and I love the changes they did with MP compared to the beta. I love Amines and the Scar map, the other 2 are fun still and I didn't get to play the beta map to see if they made any changes or not. Only thing that kind of killed my immersion in the SP was that the bodies despawned so fast but this could just be due to me playing on the Xbox One, if not, its pretty lame. Also why is there no character customaztion? Or why are there black Germans on the Western front? Like they changed the British Assault to be white and not black, I honestly just wish we could change our headgear and character skin.
The EA Access build is not the final build right?
I'm pretty sure it is, entire game is downloaded when you download the trial. hadn't noticed any major bugs or anything, so I'm curious as to why you'd ask.
BF1 loves to use all my 6 cores. One of few games that actaully uses constant 70-90% of my I7 5820k OC'd to 4.2Ghz. I love this shit. [t]http://i.imgur.com/gCQj8Le.png[/t]
I just finished the tank mission. Holy shit I was left speechless during the pigeon part.
Probably a dumb question but there will be more to the SP than the prologue and tank mission, right? Im assuming another story will show up after I finish it, but why are they hidden when you can still see the locked sections of the tank mission? [editline]13th October 2016[/editline] Also who the fuck are we in the prologue? Black soldiers with french/italian(?) mg's and American pistols, british tank crews in the next mission using German pistols This shit makes 0 sense

And they're the Harlem Hellfighters -369th Infantry Regiment. African American regiment loaned to the French, wore American uniforms with French Helmets and weapons, but American uniforms.
I think I'll pay 5 dollars for EA Access and cancel it just for BF1.
That's what I did.
Anyone else on xbox not having operations load?
So what's the verdict on the SP? Is it the first Battlefield singleplayer worth playing since Bad Company?
So what's the verdict on the SP? Is it the first Battlefield singleplayer worth playing since Bad Company?
I'm not too sure as I've just played the prologue, but the story seems to be pretty solid.
So what's the verdict on the SP? Is it the first Battlefield singleplayer worth playing since Bad Company?
Well in my personal opinion the prologue and first chapter had way more emotional impact and fun moments than the whole of BF4 and the second half or so of BF3. Not that is an incredibly hard thing to do.
Yeah compared to bf3 and bf4 its a very low bar to beat but personally im in love with the bf1 sp
Wait do you get the trial even if you get the standard edition?
Yeah compared to bf3 and bf4 its a very low bar to beat but personally im in love with the bf1 sp
Honestly I think if the quality holds up through all the chapters it will be pretty damned good. It may be pretty short though. Also without going into whether its historically accurate, I am in love with the sheer amount of guns in this game. I think there is even a Springfield 1903 with a Pederson device if I remember correctly.
