Battlefield Franchise Megathread V2 - 'The Future of Warfare Is in the Past' Edition - Games

I had no idea about this but apparently there is meant to be custom made game modes by DICE that will be rolled out over time that will have some sort of gimmick attached to them. There's one that journalists and I assume that Youtubers as well then got to play called "Fog of War" which removed HUD elements and made it pistol + melee only. Edit: So, I went in and undid all the changes I made to the game's settings and to Origin and now the game works. This despite the fact that all those changes were done to make the game work in the first place, and that last time I tried to fix it by doing the exact same thing (last week about) it didn't fix anything. Web browser based server browsers/launchers was a mistake.

Basically all the British maps were included in the Trial (Sinai Desert, Suez, Fao Fortress, Amiens, and St. Quentin Scar). Those 4 were not included since it's really just a demo. Monte Grappa and Empire's Edge (Italy and Austro Hungary), and Argonne and Ballroom Blitz (America and Germany) were not included in the trial. Tried the single player today. Gameplay is what I expected after playing much BF4. However, the production of this game from the graphics to the fantastic composed music immerses me more into this game and makes it feel more entertaining.

For my state it was a dollar cheaper to get Origin Access and then preorder standard BF1

Is soldier appearance customization another thing not in the trial but in the full game? Cause I'm gonna be super disappointed if there's no soldier customization.

Maybe change around some bits and bobbles of the uniforms, but overall I'm ok if each army's class has a set uniform design, but it seems like a waste if there's not any additional faces. We already know they have more based on the fact they changed some face models so why not include buyable (with warbonds) versions, as well as some variations of class helmets? At some point most people will have unlocked every gun and gadget in the game, and will have most of the weapon skins. It makes sense to me to have some extra place to sink warbonds into and it doesn't affect balance at all, as long as the helmets don't tremendously change a player's silhouette. And during the alpha it was datamined that you can change your face, so I hope that big t is still true. Only about 24 hours until the early enlister release in EST at least

[editline]16th October 2016[/editline] In fact i rarely saw people use any of the other tank classes. Flame heavy tank is the best.

Monte Grappa is such a fun map, darting around rocks while mowing down on people uphill is exhilarating.

I think they said 9 PM PST on the 17th, so 12 AM EST.
