Can you unlock the game then disconnect from vpn, or do you have to play with it connected?
Can you unlock the game then disconnect from vpn, or do you have to play with it connected?
You just hit play and turn it off
Shouldn't people with the early enlister edition in central europe be able to play now? Still not possible for me. Nevermind, apparently it's still 4 hours away.
Well, just finished the campaign, was a pretty interesting experience, if not short. The 2nd story is the longest by far, with the Italian one taking barely an hour to finish.
Monte Grappa is officially my favourite map, I just discovered huge cannons you can use on it.

Empire's Edge is a great map too, here's a screenshot of the dreadnought on it. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/SAcEfHF.jpg[/thumb] Iron Wall is definetely my favourite Operation.
You can get a free dog tag here on the battlefield website tips section, looks pretty nifty so I thought I'd share it https://www.battlefield.com/en-gb/games/battlefield-1/tips
What classes are you guys playing, farming scout for that Kolibri :v:
Maaan, these medals encourage shitty playstyles. Also why the fuck does the rocket rifle not count as an explosive weapon.
im using a vpn but the game isnt unlocking early when i connect.
What classes are you guys playing, farming scout for that Kolibri :v:
Scout with iron sighted SMLE or Support with the Trench Madsen is what im intending to play. Might try out the Springfield too just to see how it is.
how do you customise you loadout?
how do you customise you loadout?
Press the customise button in the spawn menu?
you cant do it in the soldier menu? thats fucking retarded
Well then, here we go again. I should really get some sleep. But the sleep was never going to win. It's up! :D
Right on 11:00 PM and the game was ready to play, smooth launch, well done.
beat the air campaign, the ending was even better than through mud and blood.
beat the air campaign, the ending was even better than through mud and blood.
Is the air campaign all flying, or can you step out of the plane like in mud and blood?
That campaign was absolutely fucking atrociously handled and everyone who wrote it and signed off on it should be ashamed of themselves for it.
Still 5 hours here, fuck.
Is the air campaign all flying, or can you step out of the plane like in mud and blood?
plane sections are strictly plane, but theres on foot sections (though its relatively short compared to plane sections).
That campaign was absolutely fucking atrociously handled and everyone who wrote it and signed off on it should be ashamed of themselves for it.
I liked it
I liked it
Well you liked Ahistorical nonsense that totally disregards and misses the entire point it set out to make about the war not being anything like the soldiers fantasized by then promptly giving you a Hollywood script filled with explosions and melodrama and heroic deaths. And all the while never once showing you a Frenchman and his fight. This is shit.
This shit isn't real right? Because that's fucking retarded lmao.
This shit isn't real right? Because that's fucking retarded lmao.
Which part? A big aspect of opening up the Middle Eastern front was to secure access to that oil that was becoming key to industry, including the wartime industry. Many of the agreements signed during and at the end of the war were predicated on territories containing a certain amount of wealth in the form of oil.
This shit isn't real right? Because that's fucking retarded lmao.
except the whole point of the british campaign in the middle east was to secure oil for the new weapons developed at the time. Overnight, oil suddenly became a powerhouse for an army in the form of planes, tanks, halftracks, and ships. And surprisingly its still fought over for to this day to power planes, tanks, APCs, ships, and now more than ever, plastics.
The whole "The war for oil continues to this day." is what really gets me. It's like something you'd see out of a highschool documentary someone was forced to make. There's so many better ways to say that viewpoint without it sounding edgy.
I'd rather not feel like i'm watching a micheal moore film in my WWI FPS lol. Sorry, it's just dripping with preachiness that wouldn't surprise me if it ended with "the war for oil PERPETRATED BY CORPORATE AMERIKKKA"
Oh and here's food for thought. So why do you never play as the Germans? Not human enough for you? Does the thought of shooting british and americans make you uncomfortable? No. No. We can't have that in our story. It's not like it was a war or anything.
