Probably been answered already, but do GMG preorders get the preorder bonuses? Since they give keys around release I'm guessing no, but I almost never use third-party key sites.
Played through the campaign on Normal, completed it in 6 - 7 hours, I'm disappointed as fuck, like seriously, there's 5 stories in the game and each can be completed on Normal, in less than 2 hours, some in less than 1. Guess we know where the development time went in this game then, complete fucking bullshit...
It makes me sad that the German Empire and Prussian tradition in general gets a bad reputation because of the Nazis.
I don't mean to bring a shit storm back up but this really sucks as someone who has a lot of Germanic background (I have a German grandparent and an Austrian grandparent) and I want to learn more about them and be proud of my Germanic heritage, but I feel like because of Nazism I'm not allowed and anyone that sees or hears "proud of my German heritage" instantly thinks Neo-Nazi despite those sides of the family leaving well before the Nazis rose to power.
The Kolibri's animations are fucking hilarious
Well I've refunded anyway, legit don't know why I bought it to be honest, I was hoping for a good campaign and to not instantly dislike playing online, but I do, because I'm shit on PC and I hate getting curb stomped all the time. [editline]18th October 2016[/editline] I'm not sure either if the campaign was supposed to make me feel sad or something, because it didn't do anything for me at all, like the story telling didn't make me feel sad for the people or any of that shit, I just went through it and didn't really care.

[editline]18th October 2016[/editline] like seriously. im enjoying the sp myself, its a neat little distraction and nice to see that WWI is finally, FINALLY in the public eye - but I also realize that the meat and potatoes of BF is, and always has been, the multiplayer. [editline]18th October 2016[/editline] It's far better than what BF4's campaign was, that's for damn sure
what did you actually expect out of a primarily mp series's single player?
Something not that fucking short?
I've honestly have played very short games that I still enjoy playing like the transformers game we had last year
How many games with singleplayer do you play as someone opposed to the US? They finally get a chance with a WW1 game, where the Germans aren't overly bad guys and they don't do it. They didn't even do Austria-Hungary, imagine playing as a Czech or Hungarian soldier, losing the war but still sees their country become independent. That would be a nice ending.
Almost everything made by a US company that has the US in it is a virtual blow job for America and or its allies. Also, You remember the one small ass scene where you played as a terrorist and shot up an airport in CoD? CONTROVERSY. Fuck we got to the point where an entire map was patched out of a game just so the abstract texture of a picture frame could be changed to stop offending that one moron
The Runner is probably my favorite campaign so far, got a bit teary eyed at the end of it with that beautiful piece of music.

Many game companies are not American though and they have no excuse, a large part of their audience are not American, even Americans must be tired of a constant Pro-US narrative in every single game. I would be.
Jesus Christ as soon as I shot down the first plane in the second campaign chapter my screen flickered, went black, and my fans shot to 100% and stayed there until I forced the power off. The hell happened?

I like how Friends in High Places [sp] may all be false [/sp]. It's like those kind of war myths that start popping because of how crazy and widespread the whole war was, like that one WW2 story of a lad downing a Japanese pilot with a pistol while parachuting where the validity of the whole thing is still questioned to this day. Still disappointed there was no German campaign though, would've been better if they made a German/non-'good guy' PoV now as it would be harder for them to do so later on if they're planning to go to WW2 for the next game. Just a replay of the intro mission but with a German PoV would've been enough imo.
Something not that fucking short?
Why???? There is absolutely zero reason why anyone would expect the campaign to be any longer than any other Battlefield campaign.
That 3rd part of friends in high places where you go through the German trenches and he ought no-mans-land was unsettling. The sounds, the atmosphere, hearing the one German talk about how he was writing a story to cope. I didn't kill anyone once I got to that point. It just made me think about utterly horrible it was to be a soldier on any side. I'm in tears now thinking about it.
Really digging the Lawrence rifle, it packs a good punch
Is that a different rifle from the standard SMLE?
Is that a different rifle from the standard SMLE?
Not statistically.
about shit my pants [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/daomre.webm[/vid]
What do the manuals actually give you? The hint says it give you multi-player unlocks.
So would you say the campaign overall beats all recent BF games?
Sorry for late reply, had to go to sleep cause it was like half 3 in the morning when I finished it, but it has a very sandbox feeling to it that the first bad company had which I'm glad to see return, and it definetely makes the campaign feel and play a lot better than 3 and 4 ever did. The second mission of "Nothing is Written" is where the gameplay shines best I would think.
is Spectator mode in yet? can't find it anywhere in the matchmaking, server browser, or in-game menus
Mhm that auto street sweeper variant.
Just bombed a bomber v:v:v

I just finished The Runner. [sp]Good kid.[/sp] Made me sad. I really like the campaign. I only have the one with Lawrence of Arabia left, then im finished with War Stories. A lot of the endings always have a sad tint, except friends in high places, kinda made me laugh.
Do you have an EVGA 1080 FTW? But you seem.have bit more than that.. RMA.it On sidenote I've owned every battlefield game so far and this one is best one I've ever played..been playing all day and I just can't stop playing. And for a dice game having such smooth launch is weird as hell..props to them.
There's something not quite right about this game, at least for me. The first map will run almost flawlessly, no hitching and almost no FPS drops minus the usual ones dependant on area and such. However when I get to the second map and beyond it does nothing but get worse. Second map will be mostly okay until towards the end where it begins to stutter and it progressively gets worse and worse as time goes on from there. This happens no matter what in-game graphics settings I use, also with and without an FPS lock. Restarting fixes it but that's tremendously annoying. :(
