Do you have an EVGA 1080 FTW? Mine just did the same thing and it's a common problem so time to RMA.
Uh yeah I do, actually. Where did you see it's a common issue?
Has the M1911 Community Mission skin not shown up for anyone else? And the Origin Access dog tag?
Anyone?
whenever a new battlefield game comes out
>plays beta, wants it
>can't afford it when it comes out
There's something not quite right about this game, at least for me.
The first map will run almost flawlessly, no hitching and almost no FPS drops minus the usual ones dependant on area and such.
However when I get to the second map and beyond it does nothing but get worse. Second map will be mostly okay until towards the end where it begins to stutter and it progressively gets worse and worse as time goes on from there.
This happens no matter what in-game graphics settings I use, also with and without an FPS lock.
Restarting fixes it but that's tremendously annoying. :(
Sounds like a memory leak
Anyone?
Haven't gotten it yet, but I only checked at launch last night. I'll see if its been updated later today.
Wait how are people playing is it out

this may throw me slightly in debt but i want it yolo
Jesus christ why is the game £50!? What happened to the standard ol £40 for a new game?
The pound may be dropping in value but our incomes aren't changing..
This battlefield is fucking addicting

If you're really desperate you could save a pound by buying EA/Origin access and buying the game with the 10% discount :v:

They're even giving advanced rmas for people with the issue supposedly.

Yep, just confirmed via MSI Afterburner that it is indeed a memory leak.
Anyone with 8gb of RAM like myself, good luck.
Does Battlefield 1 have an offline mode besides the campaign?
I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere besides vague "Eh.. I guess it could?" post from 4 months ago
I had an interesting bug. I got on one of the heavy machine guns with the armour plating, killed a guy, got off it, went forward and the got killed myself. A medic revived me and after he did, whenever I aimed my gun it would like a mounted MG. It would pivot on a nonexistent pintle. It made aiming very difficult with a bolt action because the gun would be at a 45 degree angle from where it normally is if I turned too much. I ended up dying and respawning and it fixed itself.
Oh if anyone gets stuck on certain weapons just press F1 and it'll fix it.

It's EA, you really expect them to start using offline mode at this day of age?
I have a really weird issue with Battlefield in general, I never really want to boot up origin and start playing it like any other game, but when I push myself and say "Nothing to do anyways, I'll just play a round." I end up putting over 5 hours each and every time I play.
I can't stop, but once I do close the game, I never feel like booting it up again.
I have clocked more hours in Battlefield than any other FPS I own, yet this problem always happens.
They really gotta remove the train from suez. A map that tiny, with train tracks that far away from the action really sucks. I don't think i have ever seen the train go past half health on that map.
I don't like ballroom blitz very much. Its very much like Zavod, which I actually like a lot, but the chateau feels a lot more cluttered and confusing than the factory complex. Maybe it's because I just don't know the map well enough yet, but the two rounds I played on it were not fun.
I wish medic had a gun that shoots those revive-needles in Battlefield 1.
Because it seems everyone starts holding space the moment they die and I have no chance reviving anyone unless they fall on my lap.

What's the general opinion so far? And are the other maps much better balanced in Rush than the desert one in the Beta?

i think you can still res people who skipped while the deploy counter is counting down
Why do -no- supports drop ammo. Also seriously why does the rocket rifle not count as explosive.

As with all bf betas, the beta map was the worst one.
Why do -no- supports drop ammo. Also seriously why does the rocket rifle not count as explosive.
I find myself throwing ammo constantly when I play support, but I am surprised they didn't keep the feature from Hardline where you could just take health or ammo from a support or medic without them having to throw it.

Play Support and show them how it's done.
Is anyone with 8GB of ram having any luck with the game?
Is anyone with 8GB of ram having any luck with the game?
I have 8 and it seems to use half of it.
Is anyone with 8GB of ram having any luck with the game?
Ive been playing with 8GB fine so far.
If it helps I've also got an r9 270x and an amd fx6300 and been running the game 60fps on medium on most maps except a few of the bigger maps where it drops to 40fps, but other than that I was able to play through the campaign fine and not ran into crazy performance problems on multiplayer yet.
Anyway, Argonne Forest is a lot better than it looks, I just played it for the first time there and while it might look like locker or metro it doesn't really play like it cause the map has a lot more routes than probably metro and locker combined, the middle of the map has an underground system aswell with an exit in all directions that you can run through to get through gunfire going on above. The only map I'd really say is like metro/locker in how it plays is Seuz honestly.
So, Sinai for worst BF1 map?
