I think Dice will release more War Stories
So many times I've been killed because of a ledge I get stuck trying to vault over
A Day later and I still can't connect online. I don't get how it could be working fine for two days then suddenly decide to stop the next day, especially considering I've done nothing. I hope this is just a screw up on their end and that it will be fixed soon..
IMO medic guns are too powerful, they should do damage like the 1903 exp.
Yeah, sure. Let's give slow firing semi automatics a 5 hit kill, that's a good idea. The 1903 exp is so useless it is ridiculous. Medic weapons are fine, very fine.
I think the rank 10 medic rifle should do more damage since there's no variant with more than 5 rounds. I can justify the way every other rank 10 weapon works other than it. I think its a 3 body shot kill at any range, but with how few bullets are in a clip, in a short range panic situation you'll probably lose due to the clip size, and without any sort of optic its not great a distance shots either. I guess it really tries to drive home the point of mid range engagements, but you basically need god like aim to regularly kill within one clip.
I'm actually started to get really disappointed at how many iconic WWI battles aren't represented in the game. Where's Vimy Ridge? Wheres the Somme? Where's Paschendaele? Where's Ypres? You'd think for the first ever mainstream WWI game they'd want to do these iconic battles like all the early WWII games did D-day.
Fuck all those, where's the Verdun map? I bet that's gonna come with the French DLC and it'll be sweet.

It is objectively the worst medic weapon because it shares the exact same damage as the others, while also having only 5 rounds. I don't know what Dice were thinking when they put that into the game, same with the hellriegel and the pedersen device.
Should I get BF4 and BF1? Is BF4 going to go to the dust soon, or will the difference in gimmick keep the player count up?
After playing this a while, I'm finding there's a tad too much Battlefront in this
The bug that puts the zeppelin outside of the map on the Italy/A-HE operation has to be fixed. It's happened twice now and pretty much guarantees a loss. edit: also, to the questions about the Somme and Verdun, I imagine they're going to be "fleshed out" in DLCs, like the French mentioned previously.
I didn't buy BF4 on release; when it first came out, were there only class weapons, or did they have cross class ones? I'm asking since I hope they'll add bolt actions, shotguns etc to more classes in BF1 as time goes on.
BF4 had carbines, shotguns, and dmrs as cross class weapons on release, but I doubt they'll do it for this game since the balance doctrine was for each class to have distinct weapons with distinct effective ranges.
That's unfortunate, I was hoping we'd all get bolt action rifles to start with, then branch out into class weapons. It sucks having to go Scout just to use one.
I've never had a game crash on Xbox One before this. That's...kinda terrible.
[t]http://afromana.com/ScreenshotWin32_Final_004.png[/t] We've hit a new low.
No one understands the rating thing.
[t]http://afromana.com/ScreenshotWin32_Final_004.png[/t] We've hit a new low.
What do those numbers even mean? We didn't need a single reinforcement that game and still get -126?
Operations is a great way to tank my win/lose ratio. It used to be sitting at 60% wins, but getting a lot of attacking operations it's gone down to 50%.
That's unfortunate, I was hoping we'd all get bolt action rifles to start with, then branch out into class weapons. It sucks having to go Scout just to use one.
I agree, bolt action rifles should be standard to every kit. Atleast none scoped variants.
You guys realise that would make the recon pretty bad, right? His gadgets are nothing special and scoped sniper rifles are pretty situational as medium range is more important. If any class could have his guns, there'd be no reason to pick him.
I've never had a game crash on Xbox One before this. That's...kinda terrible.
I've had games crash, especially around launch.

Spinning burning blimp of doom, when it hit the ground, it spin like crazy around the map, killing like half the player, happend to anyone else?
Spotting is more useful than people realize Trying to shell a place without anyone spotting sucks Also, even if it's situational, having sniper rifles versus not having sniper rifles is a considerable difference
It's helpful, but not that helpful. You use the spotting flare because you have it, you don't pick the recon specifically for it as you would the other 3's gadgets. And scoped sniper rifles probably have the least individual impact in the game, they're helpful to have, but an assault going ham with the Hellriegel is generally going to do much more.
Were the medals supposed to change? I had a timer that counted down, then none of my medals changed or even reset and now the timer is back to 7 days
are the medals just fucked? They keep switching to the old ones.

Recon's one-shot sweet spot is basically the only worthwhile thing they have going for them over other classes, and it isn't really that great.
are the medals just fucked? They keep switching to the old ones.
I was wondering that. Time expired, I saw a 'new' medal to complete, but when the game loaded I was still sitting on my previous medal.

Unpopular opinion, but the medic guns are too strong. With decent control and a fast trigger finger, you're outdamaging most other things, even if they get the drop on you. Assault is also really good but mostly for AT purposes. Every game i play i see maybe ten or fifteen people playing the other classes, but the rest are playing medic because of how ridiculous the guns are.
