I'm going for the straight flush first:
I really hope they remove the sweet spot mechanic in the future, it is such a god awful idea. Why reward bad aim?
Sweet spots give recons a reason not to fuck off on some random hill and fish for headshots.
I have no idea how people have problems with the behemoths???
The only troublesome one to go up against is the dreadnought since a good player will sit far away and shell you, so you have to take the vulnerable PT boats and try to torp it.
The airship and train can both be easily dispatched by one or two dedicated players.
I see so many people get mowed down by a behemoth only to run back in and die again instead of actually going to kill it. Seems frustrating :v:
There's something so damn satisfying about gassing a surrounded house. All dem points
Also I literally died on TOP of a medic who was too busy pretending to be a sniper to notice me...
Holy shit I just had the most insane round during an operation ever, went attack plane all the time and ended up topping the score with 61-5, once you get the hang of those bombs and the main gun you can do sick damage with it.

I wonder what the future equipment packs will be based on
I'm guessing more Russian / French guns
I think gas masks should be an equipment item you choose to carry. Everyone having them kind of defeats the purpose of gas. I think we can toss out historical accuracy for gameplay, as the entire game has done that already. I doubt many people would choose the mask over some anti tank mines, or an ammo crate. Gas could be a real area of denial tool, rather than just a Hip Fire AoE
I've noticed something. Im not sure of the actual point threshold, but when win and its a stomp you get x1.5 points, but when you win and its a very close game its only x1.25. I guess its rewarding you for winning better but I feel like it should be the other way around, rewarding you more for a close, well fought game.

I thought it rewarded 1.25x for winning, 1.5x for consecutive wins. I'm not sure though

Then the incendiary grenade and the gas grenade would fill the same role. Think of the gas grenade more as an AoE debuff, forcing the enemy to put on their mask and denying them long range capabilities rather than a damage dealing grenade.

I'll have to double check when I play tonight, but you might be right. I do remember joining a server that had just switched to Suez and winning by about 750 points and getting x1.5 though.

The whole point of gas isn't to kill, it's to clamp down an area or chokepoint.
I do hope to make a proper video showing off the campaign unlock skins once they actually register as unlocked for me. I completed the whole campaign 100% yesterday and i am still waiting for the skins to be unlocked in MP, royal flush did yesterday after a day's wait.

Going back to 100 damage at close range up until 20 or so meters is a much better way. Sweet spots are just annoying to play against, IMO i feel that the pedersen device will fit a much better role as giving recons a good thing to use at close or medium ranges, once DICE will give it the buff it needs.
Sweet spots are just a bad mechanic, removing a lot of skill from a class which was annoying from the get-go.

Gas grenade makes bayonet charges extremely viable due to the time it takes to get people to put their masks on, kills shit tons of enemies who aren't ready for it, forces enemies back out of the gas because they won't want to be trapped inside, blocks enemies at range, etc. etc.
It's extremely useful already.

I've noticed snipers like to do that in the campaign. Either up or down, completely at their own whim.

Two players on AA can take down a zeppelin in a few minutes provided they are entirely unharassed but what the fuck are two players going to do against the train? I don't see what combination of items or equipment they can use to destroy it in anything like a reasonable amount of time. You are seriously exaggerating how easy it is to take them down, this coming from someone who goes out of his way to fight behemoths.

Gas is a pretty quick killer, despite everybody already being able to counter it, and it also provides several other benefits already. It's probably my favourite grenade in the game because it can seriously damage enemy defensive positions.

I had something like that happen to me on St Quentin. I died next to the multi level building next to that cap point straight down from the church on the hill. The cap point name escapes me. Anyways I got revived where I did and I elevated to inside the building to the second story I believe and I was stuck prone under a table. I ended up recording it. I need to set myself up a YouTube account and start transferring videos over because Ive got a ton of content taking up my ps4 hard drive space.
On the end score multiplier note, I had a game on operations Fao Fortress where my defending team basically slaughtered the attackers. We kept the attackers at bay of their spawn literally every wave, even with a dreadnought and still only got a minor victory multiplier. I thought I saw in someone's video a couple pages ago where the player got a 2.0 multiplier? Not exactly sure how all that works
I love gas, when the majority of the guns in the game are crap at hip fire, forcing enemies to do just that works great.
imo any time you're using a shotgun you should be carrying gas grenades; you can force enemies into a situation where you have the advantage that way
I've noticed something. Im not sure of the actual point threshold, but when win and its a stomp you get x1.5 points, but when you win and its a very close game its only x1.25. Maybe the losing side should get a small bonus to points if it's a close game, but it makes no sense to reward a team more for doing worse versus their enemy. That would only encourage the team that's winning by a landslide to draw out the match for even more points.

Thats fair. I think what you said about the losing team getting a bonus if its close would be great, but I understand what you're saying about a stomp scenario.
What's everyone's favorite Operations map? Amiens is fucking gorgeous.
for some reason if I kill the commanders on the ottoman sp missions with a tank, their satchel just disappears :speechless:

I think they put the wrong model on the BAR1918 that's suppose to have the bipod, it uses the one with the grip
I love Ballroom Blitz's first defensive line. If both teams aren't retarded and the Americans don't sweep over the Germans it because really fucking gruesome trench warfare. The bunkers are used to great effect, there's gas and smoke everywhere, tanks getting stuck in trenches and pelted by grenades, and constant bayonet charges that end with everyone stumbling around in the smoke trying to find better cover / smashing eachother with whatever they have. It's the most real the game feels.
