Almost reaching Lvl 12 and only got one Battlepack :(
it's a nice feeling to shoot down a plane with a sniper rifle [editline]25th October 2016[/editline]
Almost reaching Lvl 12 and only got one Battlepack :(
I keep getting dupes
Who at DICE looked at Suez and said "yeah, this map is good, ship it!" It is way too small for 64 players, the train is too far away from the action for people to bother attacking it, and the english are always at a massive advantage since their side of B is huge and with cover in the middle of the cap, while the ottoman side has absolutely no cover and need to push over the sand dune unless they want to be on this tiny spot on the dune where they can cap.
I can't wait for hardcore mode because I always get the drop on people but can't follow through. In reality though, I dream of one-shot body kills with infantry rifles.
Is there a list yet somewhere that actually says what's different about all the different variants of each weapon? The descriptions are basically worthless and if the stats just make it seem like different versions of each gun just have higher stats with no downsides in some cases.
wooo pay day final rolled around, just gotta sit through a 40gb download.
Should have bought it from target cheaper and 2hr disc install (5dvds) plus day1 patch

So instead here are some variants I know off: Factory: Default, no modifications. Trench: Focus on CQC, improved hip fire, less accurate at aim, usually adds a bayonet. Optical: Medium Range focus, lose hip fire but gain aimed accuracy. + adds a optic sight with zoom Storm: Better control and accuracy, lose on hip fire + front grip. Shotgun modifications are mostly about the type of choke, haven't played around too much with those yet. LMGs: Suppressive: Adds larger mag and bipods, better aimed accuracy. Lightweight: no bipod, smaller mag, but I think movement speed bonus. Telescopic: Long range focus, bipod + optic sight. Other gun types I haven't played around with yet, so can't tell much about those.
The thing I dislike about the medic is that his main weapons are almost useless in CCC, which unfortunately is exactly where most deaths happen and where a medic is most likely to be found . I always loved playing Medic and reviving people in previous BFs, but the lack of a weapon that works in CCC like a shotgun is definitely disappointing.

And there's also the pistols.
are battlepacks given out completely randomly between players at the end of battles?
the sweeper is my go to medic gun for close quarters hipfire [editline]25th October 2016[/editline]
are battlepacks given out completely randomly between players at the end of battles?
yeah or you buy them with scraps
are battlepacks given out completely randomly between players at the end of battles?
If you're in the highlights you seem to have a better chance at getting a Battlepack, but yeah they're random.
Almost reaching Lvl 12 and only got one Battlepack :(
i played like 7 rounds in a row and i swear i saw the same people get a pack over and over, i need to find their secret
Jonoporter got 6 packs in a row once when I played with him. It still hurts.
After playing operations so much, conquest feels boring. It doesn't have entire 32-man teams stuck in hotboxes of gas, there's just no soul to it.
After playing operations so much, conquest feels boring. It's kinda hard to stick with your squad when they scatter around like bugs.
After playing operations so much, conquest feels boring. The thing I like so much about Battlefield is how almost kinda open-world it feels. You're fighting for C point and you feel like you're getting overwhelmed? Fuck it, run away from that fight and run over to another point elsewhere and see what's going o nthere.

I stood at the Mazar Wireless flag on Sinai with K Bullets and the AA gun, shredding planes that tried to bomb my team moving through the city. Had a couple of them pretty mad at me.
Operations is great because there's an actual flow to it, it feels like an actual front.

Yeah thanks, that's real helpful DICE. It's like Dark Souls patch notes. [Editline]disjcnd[/editline] Damn automerge.
I found out that the AA guns are great for counter sniping.
So we found out that the squad support landship is godlike with two supports with repair tools. The driver can suppress and drop ammo/meds while his supports repair him and then hop back in afterwards. You can outheal 90% of the situations that happen.
What does everyone use to fly? I tried the mouse but the limited wrist aiming amount of space puts an end to that. Tried controller as well, it feels better but I don't like having to rush to plug it in and out.
One trick I noticed for flying with KB+M is that if you flick the mouse in a direction, the plane will continue turning in that direction until you do something with the mouse. Really helps with making constant turns.
After playing operations so much, conquest feels boring. Operations is just better, and no conquest small playlist sucks.
This is my first Battlefield game and man the guns in this game are so satisfying.
How the fuck do you take screenshots in this game? I tried to prnt-scrn and paste it but it was just white.
the armored gunner is so op, fuck complete rambo, just fuck everything up while the armor reduces most damage to jack shit
I finally got an upclose look at the Italian helmets in the game and I was instantly triggered, the M15 Lippmann did NOT have rivets. 0/10 DICE, instant refund.
I finally got an upclose look at the Italian helmets in the game and I was instantly triggered, the M15 Lippmann did NOT have rivets. 0/10 DICE, instant refund.
Except for the part where I can't play 3 of the 4 operations, this is currently the biggest issue with the game.
I jest though, it's a fairly easy mistake to make, and I'm sure it was just a "yeah make one model" sorta deal since otherwise it's exactly the same as the Adrian :v: [editline]25th October 2016[/editline] And honestly who the fuck else would notice that but me
