Not really, only if the enemies are bad.
Fire, gas and exploses annihilate them, and especially the guy with the LMG can be bayonette charged at medium range and he most of the time won't have the TTK to kill you before he gets charged. IMO, he needs a buff if anything. He's the weakest elite by far.
Man, I get Red Screens of Death all the time in BF1. Playing happily in multiplayer, sometimes 4 or 5 maps no problem, but then suddenly *Solid red screen followed by reboot*

I bet it's these drivers. This is why it's fucking [b]retarded[/b] for this game to flat out refuse to launch and tell you to download a specific set of video drivers

Join the party of people getting the directx crash after playing dozens of hours of alpha/beta just fine.
Yeah I had zero issues in beta other than DX12 being real stuttery until everything went through an initial stutter and then it ran fine, but I just left it on DX11 and everything was always fine
Now I just play Conquest until the inevitable red screen of death. Happens after 45 minutes of play to maybe 4 hours. Really weird

for some reason i cant press the 1-3 number-keys when holding down control anymore. so i cant switch weapons easily while crouched. pressing 4 seems to work fine though. is my keyboard dying?

On the one hand I went on a 28 kill streak with the viller perosa kit after picking it up on the first stage of Monte Grappa and taking it all the way to B for the winning cap.
On the other hand, I've bayonetted so many elite classes.

Stop being bad. Gas. Incendiaries. Anything that counts as explosive. Fucking bayonets. They're so weak.

Use grenades, at rockets or field guns against them because they're bullet sponges.

went 40-15 or something defending the trenchline, it was insane. too bad I can't figure out where to find my match stats.
I might be in the minority, but I'm already missing Battlelog
Do any of the BAR variants have a bigger magazine?

the AA Artillery Truck is by far the best Anti Infantry vehicle in the game as long as you make sure to steer clear of enemy armor and people running assault

If you need a good support gun with a large magazine I recommend the MG15, it carries a 100 round drum and it almost does just as well as the BAR

So while MP is downloading which way would you recommend playing through the stories?
1. finish each story before going to the next one
2. play the first segment on each then the second segment etc.
The best part of getting the Sentry class is watching people turn a corner, realize you're a sentry and then trying to run away.

Only played the first two stories but so far they're good enough to warrant playing the entire way through.
First one has a lot of stealth though if that doesn't suit you
So do class ranks after 3 actually unlock anything new before you get to 10? When you reach 3, you pretty much will have unlocked all the weapons and equipment with the exception of the final rank 10 unlock or am I missing something there?

what im guessing is, they had planned to pan out the unlocks, but thats a really shitty thing to do considering each weapon set is a good set for a certain situation. and the last unlocks are great, but kind of specialized and completely different.
