Maybe they'll trickle in more unique modes over time. At launch they had one new unique mode (to dice games), two series staples, unique take on a common mode, and two generic modes for newcomers. I understand keeping the types of modes to a minimum to avoid players spreading to thin, but it feels like a missed opportunity to not have things like superiorities or behemoth battles. Like the end of through mud and blood talks about a 300 tank battle, shouldn't we be able to recreate that in mp?
The sniper periscope is actually really fucking useful. it racks up a lot of points too
Speaking of airship glitches, I had an operation ruined yesterday because for the entire round, spawning into the airship would instantly kill you - we couldn't get a person in it to even drive the bloody thing.
i find it ridiculous that people can sidestep your bullets no matter how close you, why the fuck do you even [I]need[/I] to lead with sights at such a close distance i'll never know. also it seems that RoF>everything else even if you do get the jump on people
I've mainly played operations since launch and I haven't seen offense win once, it honestly feels like they need either more tickets per round or at least one more attack wave because they never come close to winning even with balanced teams.

Odds are you get dropped into offense because people quit, people don't quit defense since they're usually winning. They need some kind of handicap, whether it's having their own, higher amount of tickets, slower spawning, spawning further back, being unable to cap points after attackers get them, etc. I'm not sure what they need to change, but the whole mode needs to be tweaked. It's a shame, because operations is the best mode when it plays out fairly. Conquest/Rush don't have its intensity because of rush's lower playercount and conquest not actually having a front line, more of a revolving circle of point capping.
How does the revive mechanic work in BF1 compared to BF3 and 4? If memory serves, in BF3 you can revive people over and over to full health with no charge up. In BF4 you can't revive someone twice in a row and you have to charge for a while for them to revive with full HP.

I'm guessing if you turn off the HUD completely that this issue is gone? It also looks like you're still using 90%, does it still happen at 100%? Do you have another PCI-e slot you can put the card in and try? You always want to use the top one for your GPU, as the ones below it will be 8x or 4x instead of 16x, but for troubleshooting purposes it should suffice. It's rare that the PCI-e slot can cause artifacting but it can It's probably not a VRAM issue, or motherboard bus issue at least, since this is the only game it happens in and VRAM going bad has distinct artifacting. Do you have Battlefield 4 installed by chance? It looks like it's only doing it on the 2D/UI portions, and BF4 uses pretty much the same thing. Honestly though, I think it's just the game being buggy with your hardware, and the UI is glitched out because it's anal about the render scale. Instead of reinstalling the game you could also look around for a profile/save folder that doesn't get removed when uninstalling and delete it, and having the game re-make it when you launch it.

The revive notification needs work period. People's revive icons need to show on the edges of the screen even when they aren't in front of you, and if that isn't enough, someone wanting a revive could press Q and have them shout medic. The icon range needs to extend to about 30m, also And another thing, if I choose not to carry a syringe, I don't want to see revive icons, and players waiting for a revive shouldn't see me as an option nearby

It won't keep the UI as crisp/small but balancing performance and graphics is always a tug of war of compromises

You can change your loadout and look at an actual useful overview of the map without having to waste time in which you could be deploying.

I saw a medic running around my body with a grenade launcher before and it didn't show his distance. I've never not had a syringe so I'll have to check if reviveable people show up if I don't have one.

Then again it could be a bug, I picked up a medic kit after running out of assault ammo, and even though I died and played as assault for the rest of the game I could see revive icons

I picked up a medic's kit to try to revive him but he had already gone back to deploy so I switched back to my assault kit. I could see revive icons until my next life. I'll do some experimentation later.
You know those war movies where one side is charging the other under heavy gunfire/explosions and only the "hero" makes it to the end? Sometimes Operations is exactly like that. Except your allies never charged to begin with and are all sitting in their base, sniping and you will of course die alone in horrible agony.

Gonna lower the settings to Medium I guess.
