I am at work now, but earlier when I was playing the game ran nearly perfectly on the highest possible settings. They've definitely upped their game - it's fantastic and looks magnificent.

Aus battlefield twitter said they wouldn't be sending the codes out until 3 minutes from now, so i went to bed. turns out they sent out codes like right after I went to bed :x. I could have it downloaded by now.

Damn, still haven't gotten a code.

Something just feels off about Battlefield 1 from what I've played so far. Played it for a few matches with some friends which should be the prime way to have fun but it was pretty meh. The bayonet charge is cool and I guess the horses are too but all it really did was make me want to go onto another game :/

this game sorely needs more AT options, going 33-2 in an artillery truck is just silly

I don't remember anyone complaining about the actual gameplay of Battlefront other than things like no reloading, a small scale, star cards, powerups etc but none of that is relevant to Battlefield.

Open beta is tomorrow right? I hope my toaster can handle it.

I feel like I'm the only one here who thought it was really fun. HUGE improvement over the combat of battlefront (not that we should [I]really compare[/I] these games together)and the new setting and classic weapons are exactly what I was looking for. Also, I feel like the combat is much more weighty, and I like that I can trace my shots better. So far I'm sold.

So, I have discovered the magic of stationary artillery. Holy shit does this make shooting at enemy infantry way to easy. It effectively can decimate a squad with a good hit.

I've only played 5 matches so far but the only comparison I can make to Battlefront right now is the UI. I enjoyed Battlefront, but the general gameplay experience in this is 10x more engaging.
