Is it not possible to use the Lee Enfield without a scope?
There's some balance issues but god damn I fucking love it
Holy shit guys. No weapons glitch is here. Edit: This game should be renamed to WAR & PEACE SIMULATOR [t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/163686349633748992/220809674923048960/unknown.png[/t]

Do I make the account with this link then when I get home it'll let me play the beta with my Xbox? Currently at work so i can't just make it and find out. Thanks
Where da fook do I get me one of these irl? [vid]https://giant.gfycat.com/PolishedFittingFlatfish.webm[/vid] Dayum!
I'm still completely baffled by anyone seeing it feels just like Battlefront. Battlefront was just Battlefield but with laser weapons and basically no ironsights. Battlefield 1 has regular guns and has ironsights again and that's taking away the things that made Battlefront feel different, so how the fuck is it like Battlefront?
Agreed, although the game has a Battlefront cloak around it it still feels and plays like Battlefield. I'd say the cloak is just the type of UI that the new engine uses. [editline]1st September 2016[/editline] As of now, my only complaint is the micro lag, which I'm gonna guess is due to my shitty 2 gigs of vram.
Wow theres the fanboy response. Also, Using the 'its a beta' response doesn't work here. Considering its EA servers im talking about.
Do you have a single clue what a DDOS is? It is the single thing a company can do nothing about, but either manually disabling their service, or hoping that the ones DDOSing will stop. Sounds more like you just want to look for any reason you can to hate on the game, for no other reason than "hey guise, EA is bad right?"
I haven't tried it yet but the bomber seems a bit underpowered, in the sense that it's such a big and slow target it doesn't stand a chance unless the sky is 100% uncontested.
I see a lot of people use it very wrong, it is pretty tanky but i have yet to find a bomber pilot who actually flew back to base, repaired, then went out again. At least it is better than in the closed beta, where they barely had more HP than a fighter.
I get the complaints about the respawn speed up but frankly it's a welcome change. Frankly, the majority of times nobody revives, just like no one throws ammo. You can say "but i do" all you want, but a sad majority of the playerbase doesn't. I had a game where i had two medics within 10 meters not under fire and neither of them budged when i called. And even then, the respawn speed is fast enough that even a medic making a beeline for you from 20 meters, which i believe is the distance it starts showing you that one is nearby but it might be 15, can miss the revive, let alone under fire. Not to mention not wasting seconds you could be spending capping or holding a point doing fuck all staring at the kill screen, or sitting in an open area, already bored with the run, after getting pegged by a sniper. All in all, the complaints are valid, but it's a welcome change for me.
I'm such a terrible shot that reviving, healing and resupplying are pretty much the only way I can get points.
god damn i love eyefinity
You must get one hell of a letterbox when you use the armoured car turret :V
Don't know if you guys noticed but there's AT rifles you can pick up at some places, the point out in the middle of the desert being one of them. It's pretty great at dealing with light tanks and sniping some people.
i've seen a lot of people complain about the ui but i really love it. it's very sleek and easy on the eyes. much better than an ugly beige/olive coloured ui with grunge textures.
I didn't really think the scope glint would be an actual game mechanic, got my self a kill by simply spotting one. I also got the game running at 10 fps and still somehow got 7 kills in the light tank, proves it's OP.
Need to update my drivers to play BF1 Thing is, later driver versions for the GTX 770 caused my BF4 to be always capped at 30 FPS no matter what. Should I risk it?
Found a very interesting bug where the planes can spawn into eachother when the timing is just right. I formed a double-bomber plane with other guys by accident after spawning, and after some panicked communication we managed to make at least half a turn before crashing into the cliffs gg
Sooo did they get rid of Battlelog for this game? Is it back to ingame-stuff again?
Sooo did they get rid of Battlelog for this game? Is it back to ingame-stuff again?
No and yes I think, everything is ingame but it might still use battlelog elements.
Holy fuck the shotgun is actually consistent and deadly in this game. I like this game.
Getting into a game and spawning with no weapon, can't even melee, this is fine.
Holy fuck the shotgun is actually consistent and deadly in this game. They should really begin taking notes from COD of all games when it comes to shotgun balancing. Let each pellet to extreme damage up close, but make the dropoff even more extreme. You can't have 20 pellets do 8 damage each, it is better with a few doing 25.
Black Ops III did shotguns well after a patch, they had it so the guns would do a base damage from the first pellet that hits, didn't matter where, then any other pellets would do less damage, so that way the damage felt consistent.

I love that every single mounted weapon isn't actually attached to anything and have a bug rate of like 80%
Man the satchel charge gives me such flashbacks to 1942; but this time it actually blows up walls you put it near. That 1 manned anti vehicle/building gadget unlock is pretty great too Biggest thing to kill me in the game is snipers, those bastards. Also the ragdoll physics are almost BF2 level hilarious and just fun to see someone body get artillery'ed from one flag to another
[vid]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7939899/Images/gifs/BattlefieldOne/thatwasclo..oh.webm[/vid] wat
Cavalrymen wear body armor.

You know in those games that if your aim is on point, you will get reliable kills. Let's actually compare it a bit. Let's take the 870 MCS. In BF4, it does a max of 11.2 damage at close range, with 19 pellets. That means that at point blank range, that means that 9 of those pellets needs to hit for it to be an insta kill. That is terribly inconsistent because most of the time, you won't hit those 9 pellets, so you may as well use a semi. In BO2 for instance, the same gun has a max damage of 50 per pellet, for 8 pellets. That means that only two pellets need to hit for a kill, but the dropoff starts extremely quick (at 10 meters rather than 20 in bf4). What DICE needs to learn is that having less pellets which each do much more damage, is way better than having a lot of pellets doing minute damage. FFS most of the pumps in bf4 are more reliable killers at medium-long range than they are at close range!
FFS most of the pumps in bf4 are more reliable killers at medium-long range than they are at close range!
Can confirm as a lad whose 5 top weapons are shotguns in BF4. It didn't help that BF4's shotgun accuracy while moving affects the cone deviation which can fuck you up bad in CQC, something that's absolutely haram for any kind of videogame shotgun. imo BF3 did it right with whatever damage model they were using with movement only affecting the spread as if you were using a magical shapeshifting choke, instead of having the entire fucking spread's focus deviating away from the center of your xhair.
why is dice unable to put a separate music volume slider in their games
Cavalrymen wear body armor.
It's strange though, I had no problem taking down cavalry guys with mp18 or gewehr
