I had a really cool experience last night where I was the squad leader and I was a cavalryman and I was riding around with my squad calling out objectives and then charging ahead of them picking off what guys I could before my squad caught up and helped take the point. We took two or three points before I finally got gunned down.
Anyone find a fix for spawning for no weapons?
Some players spawning without weapons and some with them reminds me of one of the missions in CoD1.
Got to play one game this morning and have had "Matchmaking Failed" ever since. Having a blast here

The Mondragon is top tier, does 50 dmg for semi auto.
Also the Benet Mercie is great too.
Trying to get good at the Gewehr m95 but it's still a 2 shot kill for a bolt action.
would be nice if the servers would work for a change

It took me a few hours to know where everything is at, but give it time. Hopefully they'll unlock St. Quentin and we can test the game on a different map, like they did with Caspian.

I'd probably use the Mondragon more if there was an iron sights version in the beta. The scoped version isn't that great and the artillery version gives just a tiny bit too much magnification for it to be comfortable for me to use at close range. I think the Selbstlader and Cei-Rigotti are a lot better.
One thing I wish you could do with scoped rifles is toggle between the scope and iron sights because all the scopes are offset to the side, so it only makes sense you'd be able to do that.

Keep in mind your generic "alpha, bravo, charlie, etc." weren't brought to the forefront until NATO and the 1950s.

She should have an old radio noise applied to her voice so it sounds likes shes coming over something antiquated.
why do people insist on ignoring tanks? It took like 5 minutes to retake a point because people were running around trying to pick off the infantry spawning off the A7V sitting in the middle of the capture point. There was a guy on an AT gun right next to the tank trying to shoot at a sniper on the other side of the map. :downs:

Because unless you're specced for tank hunting (or in a tank yourself), you can't do shit to stop them. Getting into a stationary cannon to kill one is suicide if the tank crew is any bit vigilant.
Any weapons aside from mines or grenades are just putting dinks in it.

It's a little bit ridiculous just how powerful a single scout can be. Using the G98 Sharpshooter, I've consistently come top 5 of the board with an awful lot of bodies to my name and loads of spot and defense points.
It does half come down to enemy scouts seeming to be braindead (one guy was fooled by me running behind a rock and then back out where I came from to shoot him... 5 times), but jesus christ.
Has anyone else been having issues with the A7V (heavy tank) loadouts?
I can spawn it with an alternate loadout, and when I'm the only one in it, it even [I]appears[/I] to have the alternate loadout (flamethrowers sticking out of the rear ports / no guns in the rear ports), but at soon as somone hops in with me, it reverts back to the stock loadout weapons wise (IE: the flamethrowers magically transform into machine guns). The only thing that sticks are the driver abilities.
also going into third person view as the driver seems to cause a massive increase in mouse sensitivity for some reason.

I think the answer lies in making the ranged AT weapons a bit more effective. Having to get within 20 feet of a tank is kind of annoying when it has 6 gun ports.
I also don't really understand why the AA gun only does 3 damage to infantry
I'm willing to bet if I shot someone point blank with an AA gun they wouldn't be able to run up and plug me with a rifle afterward

Becuase splash damage. The flak cannon does immense damage to infantry.
So am I correct in assuming there's no RPG equialent, because WW1? So it's just dynomite and anti-tank grenades then? Really changes the flow of the game
This TAA that Frostbite is using here is extremely good, like holy shit.
I'm sort of in love with the new reload anims. They look so good and i like how they aren't just "throw a bunch of bullets in the gun and bam full ammo," you actually load in two clips and a single final round, etc. They really make you think about when you should reload and are long without being annoying. I've fired off seven of my eleven rounds, do i reload now and risk dying or do i not reload and hope my next three rounds get me a kill?

There is the rocket rifle, but you have to be completely stationary and has a horrendous reload. It's good fun though, considering anything you hit is basically obliterated
I must say this, I do really love this and I will have a blast playing it on launch. But am I the only one that really doesn't like Rush.
At least Conquest feels pretty good, but the tanks in Rush in such a small space really makes it just a tank fest and anyone who aren't in a tank is just going to have to play a sneaky infiltrator style to at least do some damage before a tank conveniently comes around the corner.
I mean, these issues probably will be resolved due to the AT launcher that we can't get on beta because of the class level bug being a problem to fight tanks.
