The games one simple job is to put me in a mp match and it cannot do that. Beta or not, shouldn't be an issue for a mp game.
It's not a simple job, and this is the half the point of an open beta, some system configs are still going to have issues with the tech, any number of things that changed with the engine, could be causing your issues. DICE gets to stress test the servers, players get to report their suggestions to improve gameplay for launch, players also get to report bugs that have yet to surface, because they don't have the budget, time, or resources to test the game on every possible system configuration. Was it you and chatting yesterday, or the day that I suggested making sure your ports for battlefield and. EA services are properly opened? Because you have no issue joining on other people.
Guys I did it again
"Battlefield 1 is a reskin of Battlefront" is the worst meme I've ever come across. I've already seen someone say it's a reskin because they both use photogrammetry, or how both the UI's are grey and transparent so the entire game is obviously a reskin etc. My favourite is when you have half of the people saying its a reskin of Battlefront and the other half saying it's a reskin of Battlefield 4 which completely conflict with each other because both those games don't play like eachother and it feels more like people are trying to find whatever reason they can to call the game bad. That's not to say the game doesn't have issues cause there is legitimate complaints I have with it (e.g. removal of the "timer" that appeared around the revive symbol from Battlefield 4), but this sudden toxic nature that has suddenly appeared around this game feels kind of disheartening and I kinda feel bad for the employees who are working on this game because of it.
It seems like from the start people have been looking for any excuse at all to say the game is bad, even before it was playable. There's been complaints along the lines of "WW1 would be boring", "There isn't much they could have in the game", "Why doesn't everyone have a bolt-action weapon?", "It's disrespectful, how dare they!", "It isn't historically accurate" and "This isn't WW1, it's a battlefield game with a WW1 theme!" all along, all of which involve either double-standards or just completely wrong information and silly expectations.
Is anyone else unable to join a match?

There was several automatic firearms in WWI. That's just as good as some idiot on Reddit bitching that some of the weapons in SWBF and BF1 look the same, neglecting to realize the weapons in OT Star Wars ARE WWI and WWII era weapons.
can't join any of the Netherlands servers because of unknown errors
I'm getting this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/gVBYz4Q.png[/t]
It literally stays on the loading screen without the white circle thing on the top-right side.
Yeah, seems like the servers are crapping out again.
I want my announcer to be an angry British lieutenant telling me to go over the top. Seriously the UI and announcer makes it feel like I'm in the animus, not like I'm fighting in WW1.
It's not exactly a screaming British Lt. but within the Options menu, located at the very bottom of the Audio tab there is an option to change you announcer's voice from female to male. I actually think the male announcer sounds better.

The thing that's kept me enjoying the series is how it has that arcade-like gameplay but still strives to bring teamwork, large maps and vehicles to work in a combined arms scenario. For example I don't really enjoy the over the top action Call of Duty has but I also don't like the realism a game like Arma has and I feel like Battlefield brings a bit of both together in a way that isn't detrimental to the experience and instead creates an experience that I really enjoy.
I've opened them and it had not helped. I could try more tests but I've given up at this point
It's likely not your end then. Just for the sake of covering bases, it is allowed in windows firewall, right? Can't tell you how many times that ends up being the issue for people, even though you DID allow it.
Yeah it's allowed. I have no idea what's wrong. It allows me to connect to empty/near empty servers just fine, but those tend to stay empty.

Repaired and reinstalled multiple times [editline]4th September 2016[/editline] huh no idea about this. but you can blow up the bridge leading into sniper canyon and permanently removing access.
Awesome story about WW1 Pilots.
Have you seen that battlefield.com references a silenced m1911?
That video made me realise how much I would love to see an in-game encyclopedia kind of thing, hopefully the campaign has something like that.
The light tank is wicked fun, I joined mid match and managed to get a 30-1 k/d ratio. too bad the stats didnt save
Have you seen that battlefield.com references a silenced m1911?
I've been killed by one before. Didn't sound very silent though.

I just don't like the game for the look and feel of it. It's a personal matter and I do admit it's one of the best looking battlefield games ever. Have you guys seen the visual fidelity? Honestly, I was finding myself staring at sand and rocks. I wonder why people say BF1 is a bad game. Closet mindset. I like BF4 much better since the movement just 'feels' different. I'm sure I'll get used to BF1, but I'll definitely keep returning to my trusty MTAR, Motion Balls and C4. I am glad it has gotten a good response now, though. Vastly different from the BF4 alpha / beta.
loadouts seem to have been wiped again. changing on the site isn't working either
I've been killed by one before. Didn't sound very silent though.
Like a real silencer then.
Like a real silencer then.
What I mean is that it sounded exactly like an unsilenced 1911. The only difference that I saw was the kill log message.

Wow, nobody likes using the chat except for racial slurs and bigoted taunts. Last time I played there was at least SOME form of team communication... Also, why are rocks behaving like fucking ICE!? I can't climb anything worth a damn without sliding off it.
DAMN the deploy time is annoying
I've some some shit in DICE's Great War, that's for sure.
