also how do you shake a tail in a plane? I've figured out in a bomber just pull up and slow down and they'll overshoot. but in an attack plane or dogfighter it seems kinda impossible to lose a tail once you have one.

I think normally it spawns if one team gets a certain number of points ahead of the other team. Im saying this because I've had really close matches where the train didnt spawn at all.
Some aspects of the game are ridiculous and need to be completely changed There's a lot of upgrades that are just Better. Period. than other things. There's no trade off to use one item for a bonus in one area, but lose a bonus the other item was good at. In fact almost everything is an upgrade rather than a side grade What's the point in using any sniper rifle that has less than 100 damage when all the other stats are the same. What's the point in using the default gun on the fighters when the heavy guns are just better. I feel like there's going to be a 'best in slot' for everything and after 3 days it's all anyone is going to use because there's no point in gimping yourself Time to Kill severely needs a rework. In Hardcore mode this won't be a problem, hopefully, but if you're within 25 meters or so, and a guy bayonet charges you, you may as well get ready to spawn because you're done. If you have the armored up 200 round machine gun kit and decide to camp the PoD of a room, you're not going to be able to kill anyone faster than they can bayonet charge you and instakill you. K Bullets are useless against tanks, and too powerful against cars. They should make them penetrate and do damage to soldiers inside, instead of damage the tank, and only shots against a critical component against a car should do any damage to it Tanks also need to get a nerf to damage vs infantry after about 60ish yards. People are getting in them and just sitting way back and sniping with them, going 60 and 0, and there ain't dick you can do about it. Again, in Hardcore mode this probably won't be as big of an issue when people don't have glowing emblems over them from being spotted Anti-Air guns need a nerf also. If you're in a fighter/attack plane and start getting hit by it, you most likely won't escape it before you're destroyed, and it shakes your plane as if you collided with another plane with each hit. The AA gun on the train basically keeps the air space for the majority of the map off limits. I would be happy if it was just insanely inaccurate. It's ONE Anti Air flak cannon, and it's WORLD WAR ONE. Flak Cannons in WW1 were almost useless and regular machine guns made for better Anti-Air, but the one in game here is like a god damn CIWS

It's a fun game. The flying is top notch. The novelty of the infantry game play is dying quickly for me, though. It's essentially playing on a bf4 server with DMRs, PDWS, and snipers only enabled, with some LMGs sprinkled in. The over-abundance of automatics is sort of annoying. Turn a corner at C, get wiped by smgs. Walk out anywhere remotely open, get spammed to death by a medic's DMR. Would have been much more interesting if boltguns were the centerpiece, I think. Have the Enfield have quick cycle so its still sort of spammy, have the mauser have a slower cycle but more power, 1895 could be a bit in the middle, something like that instead of what we have now.

Got a question does calling in artillery when defending on rush actually do anything? I haven't actually killed anything when I do and even when I'm attacking I don't seem to see anything targeting us. How does this work?
Finally reached my beta goal of getting all my classes to rank one. Also finally got a chance to run around in a Light Tank, got 28 kills defending C while taking barely any damage in the last probably seven minutes of the round. Fantastic. Gonna get nerfed hard.

How does this work?[/QUOTE] From what I can tell and have heard elsewhere artillery in any form is not in the Beta. Not sure why. This means that, amongst other things, calling in artillery in Rush does nothing currently. This also means that when you are retreating as the defenders in Rush the attacking team isn't getting shelled like the announcer says they are supposed to be.
I know I'm playing Battlefield when I'm the only one trying to take out a tank and getting blown to shit after disabling it.

Oh man just spend at least 10 minutes in a bomber as the front gunner and got over 32 kills just spraying that sweet autocannon at the ottos. A well coordinated bomber team can be glorious, especially with that OP front gun.

Some folks boasted improved performance, others complained about the old ones yet again. The alpha and beta have been a clusterfuck of issues and I'm afraid that anyone preordering will once again be DICE's little beta-testers. Imagine this: beta testers paying Dice to report/fix bugs :D BF4 all over again...

I find it weird that the flametrooper absorb damages from gas grenade even though he's wearing a gas mask.
Tank hunter variant of the Landship is the most amazing thing ever. All it needs is a co-ordinated crew and you can take out the enemy behemoth stupidly fast.

There's a weird sort of skill that comes out of learning to spot dudes and guess where they're coming from and that only comes with experience.[/QUOTE] Nothing fucking works when everyone on the other team seems to know exactly where you lurk, can shoot you through solid objects, can shoot you from halfway across the map, from awkward angles where their player model isn't even looking at you but from their POV they're looking directly at you. Defending somewhere never works cause you're stuck in one position praying someone wanders near you and even then odds are I dump an entire mag of rounds into them and do nothing while they fire 2 or 3 rounds and kill you with no problem, regardless of their weapons. Or they still manage to get the jump on you and kill you from some awkward place. This game seriously pisses me off.
I'm haven't had issues with snipers. I tend to hang around C and D since those are probably the best spots to hold.
