I got a gtx 670 and i7-3770k @ 3.5ghz and 16gb ram. I want to play with 144hz, what should I upgrade to?
I'm kind of disappointed that you aren't able to fly a Sopwith. Oh well, Tridecker is still incredible!
Here's the official feedback survey if you're interested, it's quite lengthy.

Like, constant 144hz?
Or 144hz only when the stars align?
Eh tbh as much fun as BF4 was for me, the game was definitely a lot more frustrating than other online FPS games because of the sheer number of ways you can die and how it's not just from the opposing side.
Just doing a normal jog? Yeah fuck you, have a 2km headshot from a hill fucking wanker.
Doing some sick dodges/jukes? Yeah fuck you, have a random ass claymore that one shots your ass from 100% HP.
Wanna go to a vantage point? Yeah fuck you, have 4 sticks of C4 up your arse.
You got the jump on a tanker? Yeah fuck you, he popped 3rd person and blew your ass off with a fucking 2 second 720 degree turret turn.
You got the jump on a squad? Yeah fuck off, your shotgun's hipfire spread is going bloody nowhere because balance apparently.
Need to run off? Yeah fuck off, epic DICE coding/mapping prevents you from properly vaulting away, killing your arse.
Another normal jog? Yeah fuck right off pal because here comes another Little Bird/Attack Chopper/SUAV/UCAV/across the map IFV/across the map tank.
Got another jump on a squad? Too fucking bad wanker because spawn protection will fuck you over hard

Like, constant 144hz or 144hz on a good day?
I'd fucking love constant. Looking at a 1070 but the different versions confuse me.

A lot of these things happen occasionally but the beauty of Battlefield is that, usually, if you aren't on a team of potatoes, you can generally navigate most of the map and pick your engagement distances. The one thing that I have problems with is flying. As far as I can tell everyone but me is capable of flying helicopters and jets with middling to great success where as every time I get 20 feet off the ground in any sort of mechanically operated contraption I have 16 people locking on to me and Tom Cruise flying inverted in the opposing team.

I mean the 1080 is expensive but you can't go wrong if you're upgrading from a 670 that's for sure.
I'm annoyed when your standing still and press the melee button your guy gets his club/shovel/knife out instead of using the (basically) spear that's already in his hands.
just a realism gripe i guess. not all games can be red orchestra.
also i think they should make it so you can bayonet charge from the beginning of the sprint. how it was it seemed like you had to run for a while. but sometimes not. ~beta~

Camel is going to be the fighter for the allies in the final game.

The thing with Battlefield for me is how unpredictable it can be.
In Counter-Strike, you generally have some idea of where your enemy will come from. Players have clearly defined boundaries, and you can often use timing to accurately guess where they might be.
In Battlefield, in any given situation you can be targeted from any direction at any elevation from any distance. Maps don't have 'hard' choke points like Counter-Strike would have, because there's almost always another way.
It's frustrating at times, especially in certain maps, but I'd still take Battlefield's gameplay.
Part of why I'm excited for BF1 is that I feel the weapons and equipment of the era can help minimise these negative aspects.
Several times in the beta I died due to some enemy spawning right next to me. That's why battlefield is so confusing now, squad spawn makes the game much more call of duty like.
Before squad spawn fronts actually naturally formed on maps.

that's why i like bf1 flying because there is no lock 2 win. just pure flying and targeting skill

there were still times in the beta that natural fronts formed for me, especially between B and C/D and F and C/D. Those were honestly the highlights of the whole beta for me, but they were few and far between.
Did anyone ever find a way to put yaw on the mouse x axis by the way? I could still fly without it but it was a nightmare accurately targeting anything meaning attacking ground targets was a no-go for me, making air useless unless I wanted to go fighter.

took me 22minutes

That depends what you're playing and what mode. I'd argue that canyon surrounding iirc [F] in Sinai is a hard chokepoint (especially if playing Rush) and I'd also argue that the very few indoor maps like Metro and Locker are chokepoints damn near all the way through.
[editline]a[/editline]
They're certainly not the focus of Battlefield, but they do exist.
I fucking love that one where he kicks him in the teeth and stabs him.
I like how you can hear the BF4 death sounds as well
I like how you can hear the BF4 death sounds as well
In general, they made the death screams a LOT more audible now.
And me likey that, a lot.

If you want constant 144fps in ultra, even a 1080 won't really be enough.
nothing can replace the bf3 OOOWAHH death scream

I'm surprised by how detailed this is. It's not full of the usual bullshit questions like "how likely are you to buy a DLC featuring horse armor?" and instead makes it sound like they're interested in actual gameplay.
I'm still working on it and I'm about an hour in.

You can turn settings to high and not notice any difference in the game. Also, disable MSAA (2x/4x aa) and you'd be able to do it no problems on a 1080.

I couldn't really find anything on the internet proving this was an official survey.

Well, 144hz is a bigger priority over graphics.
I have a 1080, I made about 120-130 FPS in ultra which is fine since I have a g-sync monitor.
I assume the slider for render resolution is like, if it's 50% it's your current resolution but if it's 100% it's Super Sampling? Because at 50% the game looked almost the exact same as 100% but ran alot better, 100%, the framerate was really low.

42% is standard resolution iirc

Again cpu is everything with battlefield, they always eat up cpu power a shitton and my massive fps jump with the same gpu proves thats the case with 64 player servers.

It seems like it was only emailed to certain beta participants and thats why there isnt a sticky on the forum or anything. Probably only wanted a certain sample size when it came to that much feedback instead of making it completely public and getting a lot of "lol it sucks everything is terrible" feedback.

I hope that doesn't mean they plan on throwing out the feedback from the people they didn't send it to. I spent like an hour and a half on mine.
