Any advice on how I should build the various Dex weapons?

i built my dex furis around fire rate and magazine size. people legit stop and look at me when i just unload 170 rounds over the course of 5 seconds.

Dex Sybaris had 35% crit chance. Time to get Point Strike and Critical Delay on this bitch for that sweet 100%. First I gotta level and forma it a buncha times. Oh boy.

Oh boy.[/QUOTE] Fyi, Critical Delay only works on weapons that have ammo issues, putting it on things like Sibaris gives you more chance to crit, but you lose in DPS.

Also the speed of your burst is determined by firing speed so NOPE.

The consistent criticals make up for it. ~15% chance to do ass < no chance to do ass. For me at least, because I like consistent damage output. Now one question remains. Why the fuck do snipers not have 35% critical chance? For example, Rubico with it's x3 critical multiplier, but you STILL require 3 critical chance mods to have 100% critical chance. It's complete balls.

It's complete balls.[/QUOTE] Crit multiplier makes up for it, and you don't need to have 100% chance to get consistent damage, in terms of 1 shot, yes. In terms of 1 magazine or run overall, no.

I find damage per shot more satisfying than damage per second.

Modded up with a ton of forma it is a hand sniper. Maybe consider some cc for your secondary instead though, since boltor should melt any single targets, you could go for sonicor to ragdoll enemies when you can't keep up with the fire. The boltor is long range enough really. Edit: Sorry, missed that you just started, consider Lex for your secondary then, nice and cheap to make. Sonicor and Lex Prime can come later, both are easily acquired so you can get both.

Isn't AKVasto pretty solid?
