[/QUOTE] The dex sybaris fires sufficiently quickly and has such a high crit chance that duds will barely register to you when in use; in the extremely rare event that all four shots (factoring in multishot) don't crit, you'll have put another set of four into the target before they can react. Additionally it uses the most plentiful type of ammunition in the game and reloads within two seconds, making wasted shots have negligible impact. You could give yourself 100% crit chance, but the guarantee of crits will be offset by the reduced fire rate and loss of a slot for a more useful mod (elemental damage, base damage or utility).

I got Stug because it was the only one which materials were available for me right away :v

Speaking of. Are there any actually viable sniper rifles worth getting? I'm at that point of the game where I'm the old grouchy grandpa who used to play the game all the time, but can't catch up with all the new trends. I have most of the frames and plenty of weapons, but I never know what to level or do next.

So I've kinda been piling up weapons forever and I'm not sure which ones I should keep or delete. I especially have a boatload of melee weapons that seem goofy as fuck but who knows. Which of these should I definitely vendor/definitely put some effort into modding properly to make regular use of? Lanka is the only one that can reach 100% crit with only 2 mods, rest need that stupid Argon Scope mod.

It has insanely low crit chance, super mediocre status chance, low base damage, no exclusive mods and is single target. Like being in the same class broken war has higher damage of every type, totalling almost 3x damage, higher crit, 2% lower status, same stances, less than 10% difference in attack speed, longer reach, etc.

Isn't Lanka the only sniper rifle with bullet travel time?
