Warframe Megathread IX - Won't somebody PLEASE think of the Children! - Games

I haven't played Warframe in quite some time, and I keep hearing and seeing about new things that I have no idea what they are. Is this what it feels like to play World of Warcraft in 2005 and then disappearing, and return in 2016?

Are all the revolvers so terrible? I just got the magnus and the damage it does is pretty pathetic even for an unranked weapon

Is it worth just buying a bunch of max rank mods from people. After hundreds of hours in this game I still don't have a max serration, vitality, or redirection mod and I don't really want to bother maxxing it out.

If not just single revolvers, Akmagnus is good. So you can make another Magus and use that to craft the Akmagnus.

You don't need to stop to cast it, just blop it down when you are pinned and watch your followers to get crushed. But yeah I hate the PvP, just doing the daily challenges to get the skins someday.

Everywhere else I look says that it's just the warframes themselves - in-game they're not "Mag X Skin", they're just "Mag", the wiki says "Mag" and links to her page, and her alternate equipment tab doesn't have any sort of Conclave skin (while including her Immortal and Knaita skins). Unless I'm missing something and you're not talking about Teshin's store. I don't do PvP, and I haven't seen anything pointing towards PvP challenge skins.
