You only have to have your melee unequipped to get the +50 health bonus. The pistol bonuses are always active.
Well crap. At least the wiki makes that clear I guess. Is +50 even worth not having a melee weapon for? I don't think it is really since my melee can out-damage my secondary and primary.

That's from Dark Sector's right? Speaking of farming, has anybody tried farming for Ivara? I actually enjoy spy missions so I'm sort of looking forward for that grind.

Just restarted the game after like 2 years and damn, did they actually change the physx effects in the game? I remember them to be a lot better.
Just restarted the game after like 2 years and damn, did they actually change the physx effects in the game?
You're going to see more of this the longer you play Warframe.
I never really saw this crap until last night and I've been playing since there were only 4 warframes in the game. I kind of expected this crap to happen but it's still fucking disgusting.
Weeks of nothing then one day I got all the parts in one morning within 5 runs.
It's not awful. Ran a few every day for like a week and got it all. The worst parts are the BP and helmet, just cause they share the same drop table on a high level planet. protip:build all the ciphers
My mobile defense console in the latest sortie just tried to move around as if it was a sortie regular defense.
Aww, its so cute. Can we keep it?
Did you scan it?
just started doing some runs and holy shit do the corpus ones get fucking annoying, especially that one with the moving laser gates, how are you meant to do that one before it hits you?
There's a vent in the wall past the door you can use to get around it, but look out for cameras
just started doing some runs and holy shit do the corpus ones get fucking annoying, especially that one with the moving laser gates, how are you meant to do that one before it hits you?
Go limbo and the lasers may as well not exist.
Go limbo and the lasers may as well not exist.
Loki and Decoy + Switch Teleport work wonders as well.
just started doing some runs and holy shit do the corpus ones get fucking annoying, especially that one with the moving laser gates, how are you meant to do that one before it hits you?
There are dark spots on walls that lasers don't reach to. And at the end theres vent that leads inside room.
Wait for the first wall to go towards the right, where the is a door, then run in to the left before it changes directions, if you're decently fast you should be able to make it to the second alcove on the left hand wall before the second laser wall has changed directions. Wait for it to change and start moving back the way you came, and as it passes step out. Wait for the last laser wall to head left and as soon as it passes run around the corner to the right, passed the door to the room itself, and you should be able to get inside a vent there. If on a slim chance that one is blocked, turn around and there should be one down the hallway on the right hand wall you can use, but it is watched by a camera so you'll have to shoot it. Once in the vents, you'll end up in a room connected to the area above the data vault, but it is usually guarded by a camera as well so you'll have to peek around the corner and shoot it when it looks away. Climb in the furthest vent, the one on the left, and you'll be on a platform over the data vault, usually with a last laser wall. Wait until it starts to head towards the opposite wall and drop down in the corner through the opening it creates and you should be pretty much directly in front of the console.
Or just use Loki
Or just use Loki
Loki still gets hit by the lasers, you still have to disable them to hack the console without setting off the alarms.
Loki still gets hit by the lasers, you still have to disable them to hack the console without setting off the alarms.
Or just, you know, switch teleport with a decoy.
Or just, you know, switch teleport with a decoy.
There are a number of spots that doesn't work because of the way the level is designed. Either the decoy doesn't register because it was placed on the other side of an invisible barrier, or you can't switch teleport because of said barrier. Similar problem happens with Nova's Wormhole. It even impacts weird stuff like Ivara's webs, they'll attach to a wall properly, but if you're traveling along the web, you'll hit an invisible barrier part way down that stops you from progressing and forcing you off.
Just got 10 gold fusion cores in a solo 20 minute survival run on Uranus :v: [editline]19th January 2016[/editline] God damn, submersible Archwing is no fun. Who decided it would be a good idea to add a much slower and sluggish Archwing mode?
archwing isn't fun in general
archwing isn't fun in general
You'd expect them to have missions that transit smoothly from Archwing to normal right now, like that trailer for Archwing.. And it's not helping that Archwing are so weak right now, not nearly enough mods.

But what kind of sadist thought slowly going from land to water and back again was a good idea, especially on the Naatah quest, holy christ that was awful.
archwing isn't fun in general
Archwing's issue is that getting in to it means starting over again. Its the same issue Warframe has in the beginning. You've got crap, unleveled gear, no mods, and nothing to work towards. Arguably, there's still basically nothing to work towards and the missions are still limited, but once you've actually got a selection of mods and your gear is better, it's a lot more enjoyable. Especially actual Archwing, and not Sharkwing, where everything is a lot faster. Sharkwing's issue is how slow it is, which is rather unavoidable as far as I can find. Everything is scaled to like, 1/10. Its how they simulate these massive environments and distances, everything is much smaller, hence why when transitioning from Sharkwing to Ground, you'd sometimes see the tiny pixie Warframes flying around. Having Sharkwing zones around Ground zones means that the Sharkwing stuff will be a lot smaller and closer than normal, and if you moved at the speed normal to Archwing, you'd be slamming in to the walls and bouncing off everything constantly. It's an issue in the Corpus trench runs. So picture that but in the cramped conditions of Sharkwing. So the counter to that is to just make everything a lot slower.
Does anyone know a place where I can see what damage type enemy factions deal? I want to start using the right defense speck for facing certain factions now.
Does anyone know a place where I can see what damage type enemy factions deal? And typical enemies have physical attack weapons, so no resistance to that.
