Warframe Megathread IX - Won't somebody PLEASE think of the Children!

I think my buddy had a problem with the Patient Zero too. The problem was solved after we beat the Tyl Regor again in Uranus.
Could be an issue with game not recognizing that you have some planets unlocked even if you do.
Once Awake on it's own doesn't unlock any new quests after completion, for Patient Zero you should complete Once Awake and also unlock planet Eris.
I dunno what else there is to do in Once Awake, then. It should be over after I get the blueprint, right?
Oh boy, DE Glen, master of fucking nonsense balancing, is thinking of nerfing all reward gains in excavation, saying Defense, Interception and Survival are all fine and never need to be touched
they are running warframe into the ground incredibly hard
Make the only drops from defense be bronze mods since you have a chance to get outrageously good golds like natural talent and steady hands at wave C loot tables
Think about the amount of R5 cores you need for a single R10 mod, they're lunatics for believing the farming isn't bad.
Remove Rage and Life Strike and make baro sell primed bullet jump mods
Glenn closed a thread he made because of all the backlash he was receiving for suggesting that stupid change :v:
Like, it's getting to the point where even someone like me, who has an unhealthy resistance to grinding becoming boring, that I'm just basically done, so much is locked away, and it isn't like I'm not trying, making the missions worse overall is blind stupidity and a pathetic misunderstanding of how much the players are willing to put up with

I think it's because of the fact DE doesn't have anyone on the dev team who plays Warframe to the extent that most of us do, on top of them not really caring about what polls and stuff they make, and the fact that recently they've been doing a bunch of troll-ish stuff just to piss us off.
I'd just like transmutation to not give me more fucking steel fibers when I use up 4 golds. Like it should only go down to uncommon, not common. Uncommon can go down to common.
also please just turn the pangolin into a rapier or make it a better sword practically all the alert exclusives suck ass for being alert exclusives.

I still think Jaw Sword should be made a Puncture-based long sword. Atm it's kinda boring when each longsword is slash based so they all preform practically the same.
I'm afraid of getting a Kubrow- from the little I know about it (still gotta get the incubator), you gotta take care of it and raise it in order to make the perfect animal, and I don't have the time/money for that. My Carrier has been too helpful to me to part with, at the very least, and I don't really have to micromanage it. Of course, I could easily be completely wrong, so I'll see when I get there.
Kubrows are worth it- just make sure to get the upgraded incubator from a clan dojo and buy 10-20 spare DNA stabilizers when you have the creds saved up to afford to. In terms of stats, a well-modded kubrow is not only good-looking, but also will deal out significant amounts of damage to ground targets. Some breeds, like Huras or Raksa, also outperform their Sentinel counterparts in terms of utility (Huras cloaking generally is better than Shade's cloaking, or at least for me).
I would like to nominate Maroo for worst character. She makes me pine for Ordis.
Also I gave in and bought Ivara and Mesa, and now that I have three frames the game is so much better. I was getting so sick of endlessly grinding with Excalibur; the game should really give you more options at the start.
i honestly believe they should give players all 3 of the starting frames instead of making them choose
i honestly believe they should give players all 3 of the starting frames instead of making them choose
This is exactly what I was expecting to happen. It says Excal is for new players, so I thought "oh cool, so I'll use him for a little bit to get my bearings, then switch to someone else".
I want to know what players that aren't new are doing the tutorial, exactly.
Btw, does somebody know if people sell generic imprints and for how much? I sure would like to breed class specific classes, do not really care about fancy patterns.
Really? Because Shade had shitty range, and for invisibility to activate I had to get really close; so is range better on Huras?
The range and duration is way better on the Huras, yes, AND he can't cancel his own invis the same way fucking shade will if provided with a gun.
The range on shade is 10 meters, the range on a Huras is 24.

I'll get that at some point, then- my Carrier is great but not when I want to stealth, so a Huras sounds good for when I do. It'll probably be a while, though, I have a few weapons i want to get.
In another news, there's a couple bosses that really need rebalancing. The Sergeant, for example, is just a regular mook with cloaking capabilities and a lot of health- I just need to hitstun him for a little bit and he goes down easy. Sargas Ruk, on the other hand, seems goddamn impossible, with his hidden invincibility, small hitbox, and super strong armor. The other bosses from what I've faced seem balanced enough, but jeez those two. Sergeant's wiki page says there might be a revamp in order, but until then I'm kinda dissapointed at the descepency.

Most of the bosses in warframe are stupid honestly. Vor is alright, but Ruk is super annoying if you don't know how to kill him, to almost pathetically easy once you learn his weakness. The Seargant and Kela are just standard mooks, though Kela was supposed to be getting a rework soon. Kril is basically Ruk 2.0, Ambulas is just a moa with warframe abilities, and so on.
Ruk is Kril 2.0 yo. Kril came first.

You can really easily go for other early game frames such as Ember and Rhino. Are those considered garbage now or something?
EDIT: Apparently Shadow Debt is coming in the next hotfix, which is in 5 minutes.
fuck it's out
Oh... DE: Glen is having a fucking shitfit on the forums because people called him out on not understanding how the game is actively getting more grindier. What a child

It's almost sad. Funny, but almost sad.
Also, wow, that's great, two weekends running missions and watching twitch streams. We're all so proud. Really amount to the experience of the player-base at large who has had to deal with this stuff all the time for many months now (years for the grind overall in some people's case).
I'm so stupid for not buying the dark sector shit when they were selling it last year..
Wait is Proto-Excal and Nyx no longer available?
Ruk is Kril 2.0 yo. Kril came first.
Yeah I know but Kril is Ruk's boss except twice as annoying is what I was trying to say.
