Ya know, Crossfire really needs a rework or something, because despite the Locus saying to fight for one side and kill the other, the actual objective is to murder both factions. It'd be really cool if there was a much smaller number of one side and a large amount of the other, and you had to fight for the smaller side and keep them all alive. This probably would be impossible on later difficulties, but it'd make much more sense for your "sense of duty."
In better news I accidentally stuck my Carrier with a Tesla and it still worked, zapping enemies around me. Pretty cool shit.

Why? There is no reason for it, just makes the grinding even more shitty because if you have a warframe that you enjoyed playing with on the max lvl you will either need to sell it to get another frame to level up to help you to get the next rank and buy the favorited one again and do all the griding again or just leave it there, taking space for a frame that's it's necessary to get more exp for your rank, so you can use more weapons and be able to have access to some stuff that's restricted to certain ranks

and eventually you might get frustrated and buy some platinum to get those slots and give DE some monies, or at least trade for the platinum someone else bought.
I don't really like their payment scheme, it seems like they misunderstood the concept of microtransactions. Microtransactions work because if you sell lots of cheap stuff many people won't see the harm in making a few impulse purchases, and before they know it they've spent hundreds of dollars.
DE's weird "really expensive stuff with rare coupons to make it cheap, and loads of arbitrary annoyances that you can pay your way around" doesn't seem like it'd be as effective in the long run. Most new players will just quit due to all the inconveniences before they buy anything, or just deal with them and not spend money anyways, and while getting a coupon probably encourages an impulse purchase every once in a while, having them cheap all the time just seems more effective.
edit: I'd buy a thousand platinum to not type on a Kindle ever again tho

Good thing newbies are playing this game right now. They're finding those Acolytes (coyotes) for us.
When I needed slots all I did was sell the one frost prime part I had for a pretty good sum of plat. I wasnt planning on making frost prime anyways, because getting all the parts costs a LOT.
ash prime cost me like twice as much as frost prime, funny how most of the primes are under 100 plat total and then frost is like 200-300 and ash is 300-400
