Warframe Megathread IX - Won't somebody PLEASE think of the Children! - Games

I haven't actively played since ships were introduced along with that huge UI update, how do I even navigate this new map? I find it so incredibly confusing compared to the old star map that had clear indicators of how far into the game that and that map was. I feel so lost in this game compared to before. I used to know the greatest areas to farm XP, resources and so on, but with this new map that isn't that new anymore I can't locate anything anymore. any pointers? any guides I should read up on to update myself? I know how the game works and what the goal is and how to play, I just need to update myself on what areas are good for that and that kind of grinding and how the new star map works

[editline]30th January 2016[/editline] Also nodes with static means you haven't done them before.

[editline]30th January 2016[/editline] Also nodes with static means you haven't done them before.[/QUOTE] so an entire planet unlocks after you kill the area boss? before you had to progress through each individual map until you hit the planet boss, then that would open the next planet and you'd fight your way through each map until you got to the boss again. does it still work that way? or is everything unlocked along with the planet?

Yeah the current star map is literal trash. It's the worst version of it the game has ever had.

I still don't get what was wrong with the net system. Sure it now looks better, but the old one gave so much more information, it made progression much clearer and showed how the planets were connected.

I'm surprised we still can't change from friend/private/public in-game or if there's 1 person in your squad. Having to leave the party and reselect your squad type and re-invite everyone is just strange.

Question, how much of a bitch is it to get Mesa on a scale of 1 to 10?

Ceres Draco isn't very easy to farm when you're leveling unranked stuff. I suppose I just let everyone else carry me

I suppose I just let everyone else carry me[/QUOTE] A good way to go about ranking: run a spy mission to get some XP on that weapon/frame/whatever, then once you've got a mod (or a few mods) on it, run Draco. Also, if you bring only two weapons (one maxed, one unranked/unmaxed that you're ranking) the XP gain is better for the one you're ranking.

I have no idea why they decided to make the Star Chart Worse, it actually, genuinely feels like the 'new one' in the liset is actually older and less functional than the previous, and it also makes less sense as a galaxy map, why would you organize ANYTHING like that?

I found the old branching layout for the Star Chart made me want to actually progress it and complete it, since it felt like I was actually getting somewhere - right now I've got like 1/3 of the chart left that I just cba to finish :v:
