Warframe Megathread IX - Won't somebody PLEASE think of the Children! - Games

I never played Warframe with the old UI/HUD, and look at the screenshots, thank god I didn't. The only actual reason I decided to try warframe is because I got a Steam Inventory item for it on some Steam Winter Sale, and decided to see what it does in game. Since then 600 hours clocked. It seems I started playing in January 2015, which is pretty much exactly a year ago. Feels like forever ago.

Synoid Simulor + Mirage ( Miralor or Simurage as I like to call it ). Is super insane, I'd wager it's better than tonkor for super fast speed runs of Capture/Exterminate/Sabotage/Deception, and it's super good at killing massive amounts of enemies in one place ( admittedly Tonkor can do so too ), so it's very suitable for Defense and Survival too. Simulor is also very helpful with destroying those "cores" in Sabotage missions, just fire two [b]BALLS[/b] next to the core and all of the individual pieces are ded. Of course Simulor's drawback is the range, arguably ammo ( even though you hardly ever run out of ammo, if you stay in one spot spamming it, you will run out ). The Syndicate "proc" is also both useful on lower level missions to kill everything around you and not that helpful on high level spy missions. Tigris is super insane in dealing burst DPS, so it's very good against individual enemies.

Sancti Tigris has better single target DPS and the Synoid Simulor has insane Crowd DPS, but the Tonkor has decent single target and some crowd DPS on top of having insane stats. It's a lot more versatile in what it can do compared to those two, and that's why it tends to win out most of the time.

My Tonkor is the only weapon that I get hundreds of thousands of damage with ever. Even my Sancti Tigris, as insane as it is, can't match that for instantaneous death.
