So the guide to register doesn't seem to be working. I get the e-mail through but the link just leads to what seems like an error page.

So I got everything working and was just about to start the game up when I noticed an icon in my start menu in Jap that had the PSO2 icon next to it. I assumed it was just another shortcut to it and hence clicked on it.

Turned out it was the uninstall program and I now have an empty folder where I'd spend the last 10 hours downloading the game.

Fuck everything.

Which does remind me it's annoying how most of the new area content being added is for those at the end stage only, no normal difficulty of it.

While exploiting a bug at the mission counter shows there actually is Normal mode variants with correct level requirements for the Tundra, Mines and Floating Continent.
(As well as Client Orders and Matterboard with level contiunity issues pointing even further they planned or still planning to do normal variants.)

Would be real nice to see them use it to fill in the boring Level 20-30 content gap.

See what happened is some dude in PSOW Google Translated the newest blog post about the TOS updating back to how it was in the Betas/Alphas on that you have to be a Japanese resident to play. Though thanks to inability to read and Google Translated Engrish, titled the thread something like "NON JP PLAYERS GONNA GET IP BANNED."

People without actually caring to correctly check it, panicked and the panic just screamed over the reasonable people pointing out what it actually was. Gaming sites saw fit to sensationalise the ordeal and proclaim that outside Japan IPs are getting IP banned, which made things better.

The truth of it is they updated the TOS back to how it was in the Beta/Alpha and how it was in both PSU and PSOBB, this being that you have to be a Japanese resident to play, but they never gave a fuck on actually upholding this as never has anyone been reported to have been banned in either game for that sole reason. (May I also point out it's also against the TOS since the start to buy AC if you are a non JP resident, yet no one has been banned for that.)

I see this being added back is thanks to the finalization that there won't be Global Servers.

I got into this game when the open beta came out and wow this is amazing. Sega really outdid themselves with this game.

Oh and fuck yeah twin daggers are back. I don't care if I have to switch to a different class at level 30 to use them, twin daggers were my favorite weapon in the original PSO. I kicked so much Rappy ass with them it's not even funny.

This game keeps changing the security settings to the files, making things unavailable to start because lack of permissions. And the game updates every time I start the launcher.

Not really. No overseas players have been banned yet as far as I know aside from maybe hackers.

Oh, and I can't seem to get the English patch working anymore. I'm using the October version of the patch and yet the game always has to download literally the same update every time I try playing it, negating the English patch I installed.

Sorry to bump this but as I said in my old account I'm having this really annoying problem where whenever I open the launcher or check for patches, the update from September keeps having to validate. It overwrites the English patch and makes updating the game take way longer than it should.

just got back into this game some days ago, made a new character and im currently lv32 hunter and level 18 fighter

the game got almost unbearable 20-30 but once i got to 31 i could actually do 90% of the client orders my level, now the game is back to being fun
