i was doing matterboards earlier as well since i still don't have very much unlocked. i'm on 1-4 atm
did an advance quest today too but as soon as i got to the boss i [630]'d so i called it quits for the night

this is what i usually do when i play PSO2:
1) collect/give support partner fetch quests
2) daily crafts
3) daily/team orders
4) daily crafts
5) browse for more useless cosmetics
6) log out

as you can see, not much progress is made unlocking new zones or story
i [i]do[/i] make a steady amount of meseta tho at least

after you complete a matterboard, always do your most recently unlocked story missions after

most of them have 2+ paths you can take, so it's basically:
1) get matterboard from xion
2) obtain all gold nodes
3) do story mission 1
4) get new matterboard from xion
5) obtain all gold nodes
6) do story mission 1, choosing a different path
7) get new matterboard + story mission from xion

the only story quest that is odd is the first one, because not only does it have 2 story paths, but it also has the tutorial prologue path

decent 3/4 affixed 7*+ weapons/units for every class, some misc items like triboosts and grinders
friend partner cards so you can summon more NPCs too

although most people typically do the story to experience the story??

I guess, when I was playing before there was no story patch so it was of no interest to me, now im too far in to bother rewatching everything.

once episode 3 hit, all event cutscenes from episode 1&2 became viewable from your room's terminal even if you didn't get that far in the story yet
so it's not like it takes very much effort to even watch the story anymore

it's just something that actually gives you a clear cut goal in the game to strive to complete, rather than just collecting cosmetics and 11*s

IMO doing the story is worth it, if only for that emergency code: abyss mission. I liked that mission so much and it's so long that it has god damn save points.

Although loser's [sp]birth[/sp] cinematic was a bit anticlimactic compared to elder's [sp]resurrection[/sp], but I guess it just implies how much more powerful elder is story wise.

I want to finish off ep2 but the last matterboard isn't translated at all so I can't.

Fight wise elder is so disappointing compared to loser. Haven't done the story enough to know otherwise

Story wise, Elder was having fun (you can hear him laughing and what not in the fight) while Loser was fighting full force; [sp]literally fighting to the death. Luther died after the fight and got cloned by Dark Falz Double, for presumably the Losers we're fighting now whereas Elder just has a laugh and says he should do it again some time[/sp]. Also if you look at the background of the Elder fight you'll see that there's a number of destroyed ARKS ships and you're fighting on a wreckage of one of them where Loser has no evidence of doing any damage at all.

Gameplay wise he's a lot easier because of how long ago he came out, when he first came out people had as much trouble with him as we do now with Loser. But with all the level cap increases, new classes, class buffs, new skills and all that, he's piss weak now.
I'm hoping we revisit elder some time with him at full force. His 'not trying' form (pre arm massacre) was already the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRBZzRPKP6Y]size of a moon[/url] so it should be fun. But that probably won't happen anytime as if ep3 introduces a new Dark Falz battle, it'll probably be Apprentice (long overdue [sp]Probably still looking for her body actually[/sp]) or Double.

Also I think Loser [sp]isn't a true Dark Falz because of how he was 'made' and how Double treated him.[/sp]

I got my alt's Braver to Lv.70 during a cityquest crossburst, and my sub-class is up to Lv.49 so I might as well start leveling that up too before the boost week is over.

I went from 20 to 70 in 2 weeks. /dead

I was chatting with the person who made the proxy and they were saying it was all on SEGA's side, plus that people not using the proxy were not feeling it.
