Been playing this a hell of a lot lately and I'm already up to level 20, at the desert quests in ship 6 block 30.
I wish I could translate the side quest things, but I'm unable to copy and paste what it says to do into Google and I've got so many of them piling up because I have no idea what to do in any of them. If I manage to complete one it's mostly because of luck.

Man, this boss fight was a pain.
My friend was just running around in circles shooting him with his gunslash while I tried to throw cards at him to heal him and damage the bosses.

After a few days of circle running and remote healing we managed to take them out and now we feel accomplished.

Are there any Facepunchers on ship 6 around level 7?

Also, is it true that Hunter is the worst class in the game?, i was reading some stuff yesterday saying so.

Use poison weapons against catardran(that boss), it does like 800 damage/tick(or whatever) if you manage to poison it

kills it very quickly

I was wondering the same thing. I saw a bunch of guys on /v/ moaning about it but I just chalked it up to 4chan exaggeration.

What I've managed to get out of it is that it's probably worse than the other classes (mostly because you actually have to close to melee range) but not to the extent that it's useless.

Is it worth the time and effort to go play the game using the Bumped guide? (I'm really thinking hard about dling and trying it out, but im just hoping it wont be so difficult since its all in japanese)

It depends, with the Bumped guide it's MUCH easier and there's a small English community on Ship 6 that'll help you. But if you'd rather wait for an english patch then that's okay too...

I was wondering, i see stuff about PSE and PSE bursts, but it isn't listed in the Bumped guide. What is PSE and how do you do a PSE burst?

I don't know how to do one, but I'm pretty sure a PSE burst causes the loot to be better while it's in effect.

PSE causes enemies to spawn a shit ton continuously until the burst is over. No idea how it gets started though.

I've not figured out what disease this guy has that gave him pink hair, but I think he needs to change his hairstyle, the 50's have already passed.

I have to say, I think Ranger is the best out of all the classes. I've been told by my party that I'm the main damage dealer, and not to mention my skills are fucking awesome. I have one that lets me ride my grenade launcher around like a motorcycle that damages enemies that I run into (which is great against lengthy bosses), one that shoots 3 grenades in quick succession and a skill that makes me go backwards a tiny bit and then THRUST myself forward and shoot out a grenade explosion right in my face which heavily damages and knocks back enemies in front of me.

Do you ever have Hunters in your party?, i've heard bad things about them from multiple people like they ruin parties and bosses.

1 Hunter is in the party I believe, can't really give an opinion on how they are because I really just focus on myself and the slaughterfest, but I've heard that people keep on needing to "carry them like a baby."
Really it depends on the player themself I guess.

In the chat box, the buttons at the bottom of it in order are:
To either shout or think something (top one doesn't seem to do anything), to have little emoticons come out of your chat bubble, to have you come up in a little PiP thing and say something, and then emoticons. You can combine stuff like "/ci3 1 /toge [words here]"
I'm pretty sure the triangle, circle and square are for the pictures but I've not worked them out yet.

But i see people shout pictures, like i saw this one guy in the lobby shout a picture of Solid Snake.

rifles can easily do 1000+/hit if you have weak bullet and crawl snipe
I've heard people do 4000+ even

A few of my freinds and I have been playing this since the middle of the open beta, but we're all on ship 2 since that's where we heard most of the English-speaking community was. We're far enough in that none of want to delete out character, and none of us want to risk a ban for putting in fake info to buy AC. Is anyone here on ship 2?
Also, what's everyone's plan for the international version since the servers are separated?

I haven't been paying much attention to the damage lately, but earlier you were atleast the main damage dealer. Although that booster bike ability does a ton.

I'm the hunter in his party. I'm still not entirely sure how some things works with the damage and buffs and stuff, but I believe I'm doing fine for the most part.

For symbol arts, if you hit the config (cogs) option, then the 1st one in the list, you will be shown a page with a bunch of empty boxes.

Top Left should say 1._____, clicking that will give you a list of: Stored art, Art History, Icon History, Import.

When clicking a box where the art would be, the list should be: Display, edit, delete.
You can also display them using that button under the chat once you have one saved.
