Why do player with a high ping get a better chance at hitting me that I do them? On d2 I run as ct past the doors and get almost to the bottom of the ramp to b and I get teleported back between the door so I can die there from an awp shot. Just why

My CSGO experience has been on a steady downhill after the rank patch/update, many more cheaters and toxicity is sky high, cant concentrate when someone screams shit at you just because i didn't get any frags 1 pistol round. I solo que these days mostly, thats why?

I dropped to mge, but to be fair, lost a few games in a row with either 1 win or 1 tie or none at all. Was a fair bit of horrible games.

Your rank is a number (well, at least two but the second is irrelevant to who you get matched with) and those numbers decide who gets matched with whom. A good example of this is that a top tier global and a recently ranked up global will face different teams because they're MMR or whatever you want to call it is different. What has changed is what MMR you need to get a particular badge. Say GNM wass a player with an MMR of 1.0 and DMG was 1.5, what they did was say you now need 1.5 to get the GNM badge. You still face 1.5 rated players you just have a different image on the scoreboard. That said, the second part of the system is your rank volatility - the longer you're away the higher that is and the more your rank moves up and down, so your wins and losses will have a bigger impact after you've gone for a while. Then there is probably rank decay playing into it, I assume. I recently switched work hours so I can't play with most of the people I've always played with, so I started playing solo. I've lost 15 games in a row and went from supreme to mg2, this shit really fucking blows.

It's incredible how much more fun 5v5 is to 10v10. I can't hit shit in 10v10 and get my ass handled to me, but here I felt more like playing with people of same skill range and I could see myself terrible plays of my teammates and my opponents. But alas it seems like the same shit as in Smite ranked - even if you kill enemy team completely, you can still lose the round from one mistake. In my case it was killing 4 people with USP-S at one of the last rounds and not having Defuse Kit led me to dying at 0:01 on the fucking disarm timer. :v::v::v::v:

I still haven't a rank in competitive but the reason is probably because I keep lovetapping teammates with my knife on accident cause I'm too used to casual that and I'm too big a pissbaby to play against awps under pressure
