Apparently once he knew he was leaving SPLYCE he decided to play pugs till 5 am & didn't bother showing up for a match they had to play without telling anyone. He's got some serious talent, he says he's only been playing CS for about a year. (has 4k hours in that time though)
I think he's gonna be a dissappointment at first since he's nothing more then a pug-star like Shroud (still is), but if he adapts he can be one of the top players in NA.

I thought of doing that to my 16:9 monitor with the game in 4:3 mode. Then I realized that it doesn't really make them wider and I was a dumb ass.
I have 100 hours on csgo now and I still haven't won 10 rounds of competitive.
My Ranking Adventure so far:
Silver Elite > Silver 4 > Silver Elite > Silver 4 > Silver Elite > Silver Elite Master.
I'm going to get my gold sooner or later.

I mostly play on community servers and zombie escape maps. I didn't even know competitive was a thing until after like 50 hours of play..?

I went like Silver Elite Master>>Silver 3>>Master Guardian Elite>>Gold Nova 4(and continuing to drop)
Can any source engine doctor tell me how did this guy avoid fall damage here? Is it like the 1.6 trick where you uncrouch and jump at the perfect moment to avoid all fall damage?

It'll take some time for the ranks to fully readjust so give it a month and everyone is where they belong.
I played 5 games since the rank change and i noticed that the game has actively got harder and more enjoyable.

I know that to eliminate the landing sound you need to crouch, jump, stand up and hold the walk button. That works for me.

I wish valve actually did some actual tweaks to Aztec, remove post processing, lower or better yet remove the fog and rain, make it so you dont get shot down immediately when exiting towards B, and tweak the little area with the wooden boards near T spawn so you know you can throw grenades there. change the Phoenix Connexion to Pirates, and the CTs to something that doesnt have the perfect camouflage for that map (Hopefully not GIGN), better cover from snipers in certain areas.
I want to play GO again but what turned me off was the weird accuracy cone of guns. Like if you pop off one shot it would have the same accuracy of holding the trigger down (except for recoil).
I've noticed this difference for a long time, most notably when I tried to play1.6 after playing DoD forever. In DoD, even a SMG could give semi-accurate shot placement if you pop off one shot at a time. In DoD:source, they introduced the weird cone of fire again.
I'm not certain what is more realistic, but I feel like in GO I'd turn a corner to have someone at equal distance as me, we'd both crouch and both shoot at the other's head, then it's up the a RNG or something who wins.
Again, I could be completely wrong, but I bet there is some nerd in here who could tell me how the aiming actually works.

Yes and no. First shot accuracy can especially suck for the AK, which is basically what you're alluding to. But the spray patterns are general solid, it isn't really RNG if you master it. When you turn the corner it's like 90% who has mastered the spray and 10% RNG if you want to put it into arbitrary numbers. It was getting pretty shitty RNG like when that rifle patch happened.
I got a bad habit of just immediately going for the spray with the AK rather than tapping ever. Can work 80% of the time but when you fail you look dumb. Crouching is also a bad habit I do too, like it isn't terrible but to automatically crouch every time there is a duel its unnecessary.

there is no rng involved at ranges shorter than about 3/4 of the way down long provided your movement isnt bad and you can aim well enough
