Could someone please show me the directory of CSGO files where i could find the hi-res textures of Stickers?
"materials/models/weapons/customization/stickers/"
im pretty sure that the problem is actually you if you're giving up
I've tried every single time, it turns into a 1v5 where every kill your team makes is just a bonus. You never get any useful info (but a fair share of backseating and SOOKA BLYAT if you turn voice back on for some godawful reason), everyone just tries to get frags and nobody can hold an angle for 5 fucking seconds.

What do you want us to tell you? That you're basically GE anyways it's just your team holding you back, so you can just stop trying?
It's pretty obvious that you're giving up and pushing the blame on the team. You'll have to improve, just accept that.
I don't understand why do the stickers are semi-transparent all through-out the image

while some don't have that

Anyone have any tips or help how to get good quality images of stickers like in picture 2?

this is what I comeback to after a month long hiatus of go.

I'd just like to know how people actually manage to win those games. Beyond DMG simply out-aiming the enemy doesn't cut it, and no matter what I attempt I can't get an ounce of teamplay with those people (especially when the TKs start flying, which seems to happen in over a third of the time).

It's because of how csgo uses alpha channels. Refer to this.

You can crush people in pugs with pure aim all the way up to global. The idea that it takes more than aim to beat dmgs is laughable.
If you take a look at the stickers on a weapon you'll see exactly why some of them have a lot of transparency.
If you want sticker 1 to be clearer just apply a white background.

The "transparency" is because of how photoshop/whatever he's using by default assumes that the alpha channel refers to transparency. However in the case of stickers the alpha channel is used for the wear mask (the "more transparent" the alpha channel is the less that bit of the sticker gets scratched).

If you out-aim everyone you could just hold mid and rotate to whatever site the enemy takes.

Are you sure? That makes sense but wouldn't the kawaii killer have that too?

Think of a different explanation for it, since the only control for transparency which would be present in the sticker texture is going to be the alpha channel, whose use is clearly documented by valve to be for controlling sticker wear.
My guess is that the guy who made the sticker liked how the wear affected it without modifying the alpha channel so he didn't see a reason to.
Oh right, so the kawaii sticker only gets scratched and not washed out?

They just get worn out evenly. The brighter an area is in the alpha channel, the faster it gets worn. This is why on certain stickers you'll see patterns emerge after scratching.
To fix your images just select all in the alpha layer with a value over 30 and fill with pure white.
I'm not that much of a dick [sp]anymore[/sp] at GN1 :(
I've never paid much attention to skins so forgive me if this is a silly question. My latest drop was an M4A1-S | Boreal Forest, but it has a slightly different camo pattern to my other one. What's with that? Both are field tested and I don't know any other differences.

each skin has a value which determines how much "wear" the paint has, field tested is just a range of values for the wear of a skin
[editline]24th October 2015[/editline]
from rebbit
0.44 – 1.00 - Battle-Scarred
0.37 – 0.44 - Well-Worn
0.15 – 0.37 - Field Tested
0.07 – 0.15 - Minimal Wear
0.00 – 0.07 - Factory New

if you mean the camo pattern itself, it's randomized. some skins are. mainly the camo ones, case hardened, a few others. some are set patterns like hyper beast, asiimov, fire serpent

Funfact: Kawaii Killer CT has alpha and T dosen't
Also, I am using Paint.NET to open .vtf
Played a bit of casual to get my weekly drop (P250 Sand Dune FT, thx Gabe) and managed to get a 9k round. I'm forever chasing the dream of the casual ace.
A VAC wave is very needed right now.

Keep believing, it can be done.

Which gamemode is that fastest to level up in ranks? I just started playing again and I'm locked out of comp.

Casual has the highest multiplier of the non-comp gamemodes.

Lost 8 games in a row at supreme, deranked to lem and lost 8 more games.

Finally hit Eagle. 40 wins since I hit DMG, and I only deranked twice in that time.

Heh, DMG hell never existed for me, needed 2 wins and a tie to go from DMG to Eagle, but it took me 25 wins to go from Eagle to Eagle Master. HF in Eagle hell :ok:

If you're good you can get around 2400xp/hr in dm with the bonus (winning a comp is around 3000/hr). Casual is far more random.
That feel when you're eagle and one of your teammates un-ironically asks "Hey how do you guys shoot so accurately? I can never shoot more than right infront of me without the bullets going everywhere"
