Should have gotten a Read The Mouse Thread OP Because There Are Mouse Pads There Too.
The mouse thread in general is an elitist circlejerk. Wether they're right or not is a different matter but it's not the only source of information.
Uh... can I get a link to this mouse thread you guys keep mentioning? Somehow I missed it..
I asked: Death Adder or M65, got suggested something I've never heard of, it may be good what you suggested as you know better but I liked looks for death adder and M65 :<
Sorry
Also got my LEM back.
"laser mice are dipshit, buy optical!!!!!!! 1ms less latency"
like what the fuck, why cares about 1ms difference if aesthetics and smoothness? what?
I got so confused by that thread seriously.
I got a Heat Orange Sensei since it has a nice orange light.
I like orange lights.
I use a Logitech G400s.
Rival 300 Fade Edition represent :weeb:

Different reasons for not using laser mice, it mostly comes down to the fact that most laser sensors have smoothing and or acceleration. That's why they're also found in office mice and not in any self respecting gaming mice.

tbh nobody should ever expect a sub 10€ mouse to have a crazy good sensor
I mean mine was 35€ but even though the software is nothing crazy it's great.
Just gotta read reviews and shit all day
Haha fuck, I knew I should've bet against Na'Vi when they had 70% on CSGOL; Titan got absolutely stomped though, LG are looking very good

Remember, people mostly recommend high end mice.
It's similar with headsets. A HyperX Cloud II is gonna shit on ANYTHING (gamescom is the only good budget headset <60€). Except mice don't even have that. Mid range mice are always going to be iffy, and in a game like CS, good mice and stuff actually does matter.

The M65 is laser and you can disable that stuff in corsair utility engine (might actually be disabled by default I forget).

Allow me to rephrase that.
Lasers, due to their very nature are going to have acceleration. Don't get me wrong, it's not massive or insanely noticeable etc. but it's still there, while on optical mice it's almost non existent.
Came up against a team who shit talked all first half and every round that they won, it was 8-7 for them, then when it switched we managed to win 16-13, and we all typed "talk shit get hit" in chat after.

We won three rounds as T on nuke and the enemy team typed "pathetic" we then proceeded to win every round on CT and gave them the same line back, no response
5 am match on overpass, what could possibly go wrong
absolutely nothing did

the replay thing is pretttty annoying, no offense
I can register what I'm seeing perfectly fine, I don't need a playback
This was the worst feeling I have ever had playing this game.

It's not inherent to lasers, but he's not incorrect. The three most popular (read: cheapest to buy from the OEM) laser sensors (Avago 9500 and 9800, and Phillips Twin-Eye) all have tracking issues. The Avago sensors have inherent acceleration and prediction algorithms built into the sensor, and the twin-eye has a z-axis problem that moves the mouse when you lift it off of the pad. I don't know of any consumer laser mice with perfect sensors.

I'll revise what he said to be an actually defendable point (since there are some laser illuminated optical sensors which have decent acceleration characteristics, though nobody has actually ever been able to provide the idtities of said sensors to me but it is very possible for them to exist). However, you aren't going to get a sensor like that in your gaming laser mouse.
Instead you will get an Avago ADNS 9500/9800, or vendor-specific revision of said sensor, for example both Razer and Logitech have had modified sensors made specifically for them in the past by Avago (now owned by Pixart, but they make the same sensors). Note that the two laser mice people have metioned recently in this thread (Corsair M65 and CM Mizar) use the ADNS 9800. Both the ADNS 9500 and 9800 have well documented acceleration and prediction issues with the actual sensor due to the illumination used.
The issue of mouse acceleration is present on all traditional optical-type sensors, both LED ("optical") and laser illuminated since they are the same basic design and principle with different methods of illumination. However, LED illuminated sensors have been gotten to the point where they are basically 1:1 tracking for high end models (the three most common sensors you're going to be finding in your gaming mouse tody are the Pixart 3310, Avago 3090 and Avago 3050, or variants thereof like the sensors avago make for Razer/Logitech) simply because it is far easier to do compared to laser. This has not really been achieved yet for the common laser illuminated sensors. Note that this doesn't account for the actual implementation of the sensor, for example the PureTrak Valor used an Avago 3090 and yet was an abysmal heap of trash.
There is also the matter of angle snapping on Avago sensors, which is technically not possible to remove due to the design of them, and supposedly because they are based of HP printers (citation provided below). However it is basically removed for all intents and purposes on their newer offerings.
Don't even mention the Philips Twin-Eye thing, I like my mice to stop tracking when I lift them, not spaz about wildly.

Thanks, this was interesting!
Today I learned: (mini rant)
Polish == Russians.
Went solo queuing, got put into team with some 4 man premade Polaks.
They didn't speak in game (I can only assume they spoke on TS), no info at all but they raged at me and shouted when I didn't come to help (despite not knowing shit what's going on).
Russians always try at least to say something in broken English, these guys just 100% ignore and rage at me directly.
Such a bullshit.
Anyone wants to play? I am LE-LEM, would be great if somebody could play with me then give me tips, it seems no matter what happens - I always do something that other players are not happy about and I have no clue what.

From when i played with you before-> Confidence.
Your confidence is about as stable as a jenga tower with 10 blackout drunks around it. When you improve that it's gonna get a hell of a lot easier quicker.

But how do I improve confidence if I some new kind of crap happens in solo queue?
And all of people I used to play with are inconsistent (they can play for 1 week solid every day, then dissapear for a month)
was a huge rage fest but I did it!
