What number of previous games does it take for CSGO to not change your rank if there was a cheater on your team? This could mean that boosting friends can always work as long as you play many games quickly before you're detected. Should be unlimited, to end boosting by cheating.

Should be unlimited, to end boosting by cheating.[/QUOTE] IIRC it is not a number of games but a time limit i.e. it is assumed that the VAC banned player has only been cheating for a certain period and removes all the [b]wins[/b] from recent games. When my cousin cheated on an alt and got his main accidentally VAC'd, it still counted all the losses just not the wins; I lost 2 ranks, which sucked because I'd been carrying him :v:

Im guessing not enough evidence to link him to the account, might just be a rumour (i dont consider hltv threads a credible source). Also, according to the hltv thread it is a GO vac which is the only one that counts otherwise GTR couldnt play either.

So this bullshit happened. playing mm on mirage all good and all until we 5-1 them or something like that and since that round we thought they simply flipped a switch or something, thankfully we won 16-14 and they just spammed chat with things like "NOOB TEAM!!!!!!! OMGG". So I watched the last round and I'm thinking that someone told him that there was an enemy around the corner, right when he kind aims at the corner up and down. Well, after weeks of feeling like I was teetering right on the edge, then slipping off it, I finally made it to LE on probably my worst game in the last ~3 months. Now time to promptly lose it in 3 games.
