shoot the head, use a low sensitivity, "idi nahui" means get fucked in russian
Hm, why should people use low sensitivities anyway?
I wonder who they'll pick to replace him, this is going to be interesting
Hm, why should people use low sensitivities anyway?
You'll end up "over aiming" if you use a high sensitivity. That said, you'll end up under aiming if you use too low of one.
you use low sens because its easier to control and if you're playing properly you wont need to be able to turn more than 180 with a swipe
Huh, define high sensitivity though I used to play with 4 , but then went down on it, and now am at 2.
Ingame sensitivity means nothing to us if we don't know your mouse DPI
Hm, why should people use low sensitivities anyway?
low sensitivity = higher accuracy for example, move your mouse 1 millimeter across your mouse mat at 6000 dpi 10 ingame sens and your crosshair will move (fake measurement) 50 ingame units. move your mouse 1 millimeter across your mat at 500 dpi 1 ingame sens and it might move 1 ingame unit. by using a low sensitivity and using your whole mouse mat to aim rather than just your wrist movement you're going to be considerably more accurate. lower sensitivity allows for more precise crosshair adjustments which is what you need
Huh, define high sensitivity though I used to play with 4 , but then went down on it, and now am at 2.
A chocobo has big hands so you need very low sensitivity because it's harder to grip the mouse.
Acceleration would be incredibly underrated if it actually worked correctly, problematically, the actual acceleration value is tied to your FPS and a huge random factor. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] I think you could get it to act in a sorta-stable fashion if you could maintain a perfectly stable ~175 FPS. Probably impossible since it drops frames like a motherfucker as soon as some smokes and gunshots start flying.

I'm not a fan of accel but there are ways to do it consistently if that makes sense.
Played some comp today and got on a winning streak, then after I took a short break, I played some more and suddenly it's like my luck went to zero. First game was an average one, lost 16-10, then after that I got in a team with derankers twice in a row, and then last game was against a team who only used scouts and deagles and destroyed us. Great day.
Ingame sensitivity means nothing to us if we don't know your mouse DPI
Honestly got no idea. Think its at 1600, it only has 3 settings, 800 1600 and 2000 or so I really need to train with the ak. Some days I can do some cool stuff, others its sarah silverman day.
I'm finally getting CS:GO next week, do you guys have any tips?
rush b cyka blyat
Hm, why should people use low sensitivities anyway?
Being off by a millimetre at a low sensitivity will matter way less than being off by a millimetre at a high sensitivity, and having a low sens means it's easier to make slight adjustments to your aim. If you've got the desk space, there's no reason not to use it. You shouldn't turn it too low as there are practical reasons to turn more than 180 degrees without repositioning your mouse, but you're going to face enemies head on more often than you have their back to them, and with experience, you can turn very quickly towards people even with low sensitivities. Basically, find a middleground. Most people are between 800 and 1600dpi with 1 ingame, but 1600 and 2 ingame is okay if you have a tiny mousemat. Anything beyond that and you're probably playing with too high.
I play with fairly low sense. 6/11, dpi 800, sens 1.3. It does kinda suck a bit if you're dming, because 180's are a pain. perfect for mm tho this is a vid of me dm'ing with the camera on my mouse pad http://www.twitch.tv/greenie_tk/v/27095714

Steam inventory helper and enhanced steam both do this
just one more game =)
I would quit csgo if i had to play dust2 so much. Any other map except assault is fine, but somehow i just can't stand dust2 anymore. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] I wish cs_backalley would return. It was a great map.
The only map I can't stand is mirage. I can't hold angles to save my life and entering any site as T is close to impossible. Maybe I'm just bad.
For whoever was asking about mouse sensitivities the best settings for the most radials is to use your mouse's native DPI and then adjust the in-game sensitivity to preference (an approximate 180 across your mouse pad is ideal). For example, my mouse's native DPI is 5700. My mouse can go to double DPI (11400), don't do that if you have it. So I set it to 5700, then sensitivity 0.25 feels good to me at the moment. Now I have maximum/native radials in my turning. [editline]25th November 2015[/editline] I also made some 1024x768 vs 1920x1080 comparison gifs. Draw your own conclusions. no stretched 0/10
no stretched 0/10
I don't approve of stretched resolutions because the x and y sensitivities are different, so it will mess your brain up.
I don't approve of stretched resolutions because the x and y sensitivities are different, so it will mess your brain up.
The x and y sensitivities aren't different though.
Doesn't anything under 16-3 classify as a 'stomp' in that it gives you less elo for win?
I want to flip shit when people say that CSGO uses elo. I never thought about it, never read into it, and this phrase "CSGO uses glicko2, not elo" just burned into my head throughout reading around on the internet when discussing ranks. Everybody should already know about it, for fucks sake.

'How much glicko2 do you get for win?' just sounds wrong to me.
