Speaking of VAC and Overlays, does Teamspeak's Overwolf thing cause any problems with it?
No, Overwolf hooks into the API calls that display the rendered frame and modifies it the same way the Steam Overlay does, it doesn't interact with the game per say so its safe. What isn't safe is directly hooking into the game and physically getting the game to draw it, which both the Steam Overlay and Overwolf don't do. Technically speaking, no overlay should get you banned if they do it correctly which is hooking onto the DX calls and modifying the frame just before it gets displayed, the game already created the frame so it hasn't been modified in that sense, its instead being changed just before it hits the display.
Also VAC only instantly bans you if you modify the memory (in certain games) or inject a detected file into the game. Other than that it doesn't really care, VAC is a blacklist after all.
I was eating my lunch when i was thinking about VAC and i realized that VAC actually works better against loyal players that are tech savvy rather than actual cheaters
imagine this: some dude has alot of items and makes videos with HLAE, some engine update breaks -insecure mode so he gets flagged, thing is he doesnt know if he is flagged, he reads somewhere that -insecure mod is broken and he has no idea if he is gonna be banned and lose all his items + his teammates trust
and there is a blatant cheater, he never has any items, anytime he gets banned, he just spends $15 to buy csgo, no items or trust to lose, and he just keeps cheating, knowing he will be 100% banned but he just doesnt care
VAC makes cheat developing very difficult, because you may release a cheat that is already flagged, but you dont know due to the delay, but is it worth the paranoia?
"Dont cheat and you will not be banned" is not actually accurate, theres so many things that may trigger VAC, but we dont know because of its mysterious mechanics and behavior

People that say VAC is perfect are annoying. Also, sales make CSGO unplayable, the game being 2 bucks, etc.
how is this fair

the ones in our team with the same group were griefing a little a few times so that didn't help

Guessing the two DMGs were pretty close to uprank, the two LEs pretty close to down rank and the unranked was around MG1.
So in theory, should be somewhat balanced.
You know what, after attempting to trade for a month or two, i can say it's not worth your time. You're literally better off doing online surveys. At least they pay out in paypal cash.
If you're thinking of trading to make a little bit of money, don't even bother. I can kind of see why people have all those messages like "LOWBALL = BLOCK, NO ADDS, MUST OVERPAY" because 90% of people who approach you give you shit offers, are scammers or don't read your trade description.
I can get $10 per week from online surveys if I bother. For cs:go you'd be lucky to get 4 keys per week unless you're a mass trader, spend an ungodly amount of time trying or invested in a lot of money in the first place.
I'm just wondering how people even get profit anyway. I have tried for ages to just get a few cents profit and that's just never happening because literally everyone wants like, up to 20% overpay no matter what it is. I keep trying but never get anywhere.
How am I even supposed to value my items? Steam market says one thing, that analyst website says another, the lounge addon says something else..
Funny thing is I did the exact same thing in TF2 and managed to get quite some profit in no time.

You trade a single skin for a variety of skins, but at a higher value, you can trade that variety for a single skin that's a slightly higher value than your current one.
In general, good luck trading in CSGO, it's very cutthroat

I'll give that a try, thanks. So far I just tried swapping items for keys and then the other way around.

only surveys that pay you money?

That wont ever work sadly.
In general, if you're upgrading you're breaking one skin down into multiple components, some of them high value with adds for the rest. You do the same thing again to the high value skin etc.
When you make a fair profit, you trade the adds/high value+add skin for another high value skin that's a slight downgrade in value, but still higher than the value of your first item.
At least, that's how I've mostly seen trades go.

Is this guy the IGL for Na'Vi?
You know you're burned out when you do 2 days of just doing 70~90 damage constantly.
At least supreme has a nicer looking logo.
Losing 8-1, keep getting shittalked by enemies.
Win 16-12, ez game.
Great feeling.
Wouldn't be surprised if more players from NiP left aswell.
Me and a friend decided to play some matchmaking. Our team consists of other 3 retards, there's no communication, coordination or any tactics, then my friend managed to do this.

You real belgian man now, like scream & ex6tenz.
Could anyone explain me why people still buy past operation passes for such high price ?
I have an op bloodhound pass left in my inventory just to see how much I can profit from it since it's already twice the price I got it.
