Some people just want the bronze coins. As far as I know that's the only reason there is. Other than buying them to resell them. I know multiple people that have bought passes for the coins so it's more common than at least I would think.
Yeah, that was the only reason I could think of, so I thought maybe there was something I didn't know about activating operation passes after they ended. It appears there's nothing else than activating them just for the coins.

It's literally a better deagle right now, unless I'm missing something.
If you're taking either this or a deagle short range you fucked up somewhere anyway. It's faster to get 2 shots with a revolver out than 2 with a deag before it's accuracy resets.

So here's my take on the revolver.
We're gettin a hotfix tomorrow.
I kind of understand it, it's supposed to be a high skill cap gun, with a high barrier to entry. Now here's the problem, a half decent global will absolutely dump on rifles. Long range it shits on anything and everything that's not an AWP. 2nd round force buys for CT sides, where they can take fights over long sightlines are about to become a nightmare, since it blows the Galil out of the water.
The counterbalance to it is that it's supposed to be hard to hit, but the problem is, people at a certain level are _very_ good at tracking with their mouse. Pro players will be pulling off filthy shots left and right because it's basically an AWP without a scope. I get that the price is high but it's 1500$ for kevlar+revolver, too low.
It's the long range version of the zeus, with more bullets. It's dumb. The deagle shoudl have just been buffed to 2 hits to chest from mid range and re-increased back to 800$ and everything would have been peachy. But this is a bad way to go fix a non existent problem of having no viable long range pistols for eco rounds. Bad move.
Round timer is a different problem and I don't even want to get into it. I don't mind the bomb timer change THAT much (kit is 400 after all, it was 200 before) but the round timer change is a fucking disaster and a buff to bad play. We'll see how it is when the dust settles but i REALLY doubt these two things are going to stay the way they are.

Whoever made the revolver is absolutely insane.
Here's a nice list of it's current features:
-Oneshots to the stomach at range
-Oneshots to the chest close-up
-Running accuracy is better than the P250 standing still
-Damage and accuracy is significantly better than the SSG08 at half the price
-Standing and crouching accuracy is nearly the same as the AWP, with crouching being better than crouching with the AWP
This is a legit scout-replacement for half the price. It seems better than the shotguns since you have to peek people with the shotguns in the same way you have to with the revolvers, and the firerate is faster anyway. The only downside compared to those weapons is the ammocount which is a fucking stupid downside to bank weapon designs off of.
