Yep. I've been killed from T spawn coming out of CT spawn.
I like how we aren't even a day post-update and everybody thinks they have a perfect gauge on how this update will effect the game. Why don't you just let the meta shake out and then have a conversation on whether or not the gun is literally Cthulhu.

because you can guess already by how it works, rmb works well close range, lmb works well mid range, it costs 850. stomach shots almost instant kills anybody, its the new CZ!

You can see by the gun's stats and effectiveness that it's already beaten Cthulhu, the only question is if Valve will be able to get it to workable standards or if they'll just kill it like they did the CZ.
It's definitely an usable concept, they just botched the execution to the point they'll probably have to change most of the gun's values

It significantly reduces the skill ceiling of CS:GO even more so, by adding another weapon that only requires one bullet to kill somebody from close to medium ranges even while moving, making it another weapon to find new counters for. Unlike the AWP, you can easily run and gun through a corner and taking a pick or two without sacrificing movement speed, scope in time, and in general you have a quicker reaction time and field of view compared to the AWP. Use it in match-making a few games and you'll understand why this is a problem. It's over powered and obviously hasn't been tested for match-making in any form, and instead of fixing game breaking bugs such as broken animations when using most smgs, they've decided it would be best to add a miniature AWP.
It's not whether or not people believe they have "the perfect gauge", it's a matter of if an update like this was a necessary asset to improving the game. They've nerfed spray downs with all rifles, reduced movement accuracy with all pistols (except for our lovely R8), and added an almost instant kill, light weight, cheap, very powerful, wallbangable and accurate hand gun into the game. What could possibly go wrong? This requires an immediate update patch.
also, incoming the new "I R8 8/8" memes in every matchmaking lobby.

they shouldnt let you unwind the revolver because the enemy has no chance of fighting back if you wind up while running a corner, even more so when you can run and shoot with it, and stomach someone for an instant kill
I just tried out the revolver and holy shit i was giggling the whole time. Faster reset time than the deagle, holds one more round, OHK through armor at long range,does like 97 dmg through cover, can shoot as accurate as a rifle while going full speed hahahahhah. And there's head bobbing while reloading too. Is this gun from a korean fp2 mmofps

stomach 1hits because their concept is that if u hit someones chest its because u missed their head, if you hit their stomach is because you aimed for it
also caliber doesnt mean much for CSGO, see tec9

before 2nd RMB shot is fired, TAP LMB, and let go of LMB, keep holding RMB
gun will be fully winded as long as u dont let go of RMB, hit LMB to fire a 70% accurate shot anytime, have fun

This gun is amazingly fun to use. The only thing they need to nerf is the long range damage imo, because if you happen to miss up close you are basically fucked unless you spam M2

No scratch that, I actually misread the Reddit post entirely. The R8 was apparently supposed to have as much armor penetration as the AWP (97.5 %) but instead it uses the Deagle's. (93.2 %)
So actually it was supposed to do more damage than it currently does.
Running around spurting revolver ocelot quotes in comp games is a good feeling.
I just went 61/12 in a deathmatch round where everyone was using this thing. :v:

I think the new Revolver is actually a very fun weapon and I think people are overreacting a bit. I mean, it's not one shot one kill after a certain distance and if you miss your first shot you're probably fucked. They can't really make it take two shots to kill someone anyway, because then you'd just get rekt. But I would make the weapon more expensive to make it riskier.
Also, hitting an enemy at close range who's jumping around while having a delay is surprisingly hard.
