Shit I'm playing competitive and can confirm it is in fact OP... They should make the time to shoot longer.

Is anyone else's sound fucked up after this last patch? Some sounds just straight up aren't playing like flash grenades and AWP shots, people's mics sound robotic and broken up, things like that.

Reading all the comments on the r8 (videos too) I see it's gonna be a huge problem for me as I hate weapons that 1 hit kill when not aiming at head :v:

Just because the revolver is silly doesn't mean you can't play normally.
They should change the CT and T player models to Revolver Ocelots.

that can one hit with full armor from a considerable distance away, in the stomach. for only 850$. and its a sidearm. its like a pocket awp thats stronger than the deagle in basically every way.

Anything that one hit kills whenever you fire at the continent the enemy is standing on is a "good gun".
Releasing a massively OP weapon that everyone will use, along with a special case for it and new skins to sell (which valve profit off of) screams "we just want to make loads of money on skins, we'll balance it later maybe".

The revolver is fucking retarded, 16 shots only need 5 shots
This gun feels like that one time I changed the game's weapon script files for mag-7, making it have max range and 0 spread

It's a 1 shot kill to the stomach at pretty much any range and a 1 shot kill to the chest at close range. The gun is more accurate than the AWP when crouching and it costs only $850. Overall I'd say it's pretty balanced.
Revolver is pretty OP if you know how to use it.
on a side note, just got the new case and sold it for 6.1 euro. I never imagined I'd get the money back I pre-ordered this game for until the skin update.
The gun is OP. End of it.
And the pros are waking up. Twitter is amusing right now.
