If players like Device and Dupreeh can ace with the deagle then I dread to think what will happen at the pro league finals if this isn't patched.
This gun is hilarious. Mostly because everyone is spamming it and no one is real good with it so i just ak and win.
I'm usually a pretty try hard when it comes to csgo, I've been a global for 3-4 months now and I guess I sorta dwindled away from trying so hard and decided to play with only the R8 a couple of games and this gun is literally fun as hell. Like sure it's stupid of me to only use it but I'm still staying second to top frag which is not really special considering how powerful the thing is but still. Then one like my fourth game I finally was having a little trouble with it, still second fragging but the top fragger was 10 or so kills ahead of me using the AWP and the entire game he was bitching so hard to me about me using the gun and not trying and shit. The other team was 14 and we were 12, he finally blew the fuck up and yelled so hard into his mic that it made me cringe, and to be honest, I got really annoyed by it at the same time. So I pretty much snapped back at him like "fine fuck you I'll awp just like the rest of you" and somehow my rage made me play better than I've ever played in my time on cs like holy hell. I was getting absolutely insane shots and ended up winning 16 14 leaving the angry dude in the dust. He asked me to play with him again and added me on Steam, I was like "nah dude you're just an asshole who will yell at me every chance you get, sorry".
Then the guy trades me a fade revolver skin and apologizes, telling me how I can only use the revolver and shit again. I'm so fucking blown away, I was on such thin threads with the game and was most likely going to quit after that game, but this is like my first skin I've had that is worth more than 20 dollars, let alone hundreds.
Some random dude just saved me from quitting.
I probably worded this so fucked up I don't even know what is happening, I'm like pumped with adrenaline right now over virtual pixels.
I hate how valve always give less ammo to new weapons. But it still fun on deathmatch.
+ whopping 2 draw animations
+ R+F spam looks awesome
+ it's a fucking revolver
+ new shooting mechanic
+ you can put stickers on both sides of the cylinder
- sounds very weak compared to its power
- 8/8 ammo, absolutely not 8 out of 8 M8
- even when jumping it's 100% accurate with LMB, I suppose it is a compensation for having to hold LMB but it's not that hard for it to be as much accurate (especially when moving)
- weired screen wobbling when reloading, also revolvers can't be reloaded that fast, wtf Valve?
- you do not drop shells when reloading

I do wish it wasn't the most ugliest revolver ever.
It looks like Valve did a mishmash of several different revolvers to avoid copyright.

I was jumping and shooting and it seemed pretty accurate but maybe it just my false first impression. I wonder when it calculates the accuracy. When you pull the trigger or when bullet is fired?
So i just played my first game of this patch, it was so fucking hard to take it seriously, R8 kevlar every round, dropping smokes and alt tabbing was the fucking meta. Smoke shooting galore shitfest. Kill me now and resurrect me when this is fixed.

Kinda brilliant of them to put in the R8, cuz even the absolutely ruining alt-tab smoke bug / bomb bug / bomb timer / ... is ignored by 90% of the community.

how do you "charge" the revolver and hold it without it just shooting straight away? when i fire with lmb it cocks it back then fires but i've just been in a game with guys that could hold it cocked back

also you can shoot it while defusing, seems like they completely forgot that right click fires and that it should be disabled in round start/defusing
honestly the thing is just fucking broken, fun to play with but shouldn't be used competitively at the moment
you know there is only one way to get it nerfed, abusing the living shit out of it.
I've been thinking of some nerfs for the r8 like:
-More expensive
-Reduced firing speed for alt fire mode
-Reduced Damage for alt fire mode
-Reduced Clip
Don't take these nerfs as a whole. I'm personally ok with the One hit-> Kill concept since you have to wait 1 sec to fire

It's exactly the one hit kill concept that kills it. If you think the 1 sec to fire matters at all you don't quite understand how the game works. Sorry but even at double the price, 3 bullets in clip, NO accuracy while moving, it would still be a potent weapon. Right click needs to go too.
Overtuned isn't accurate, the thing is more overpowered than an aimbot on a railgun.

hold right click, press left click and hold if i remember correctly
even though the revolver is op as fuck, its fun to use and I can stop using the 5-7 every round for now.
Does this killcam thing disabled in competitive, and how do I disable that high pitches sound while watching. It hurts my ears.

doubt they would reduce clip size, because the gun is modeled to hold 8 rounds. we dont need another demoman GL that holds only 4 nades but has 6 cylinders
