like maybe instead of doing stuff like arbitrarily nerfing rifles maybe they should have buffed the heavies if they wanted players to not use rifles so much
The LMGs and most shotguns aren't gonna be used even if you buffed them, though.

The only reason I avoid shotguns outside of the auto is because of how random they are for damage. The LMG's on the other hand just need to be used right as they are best for suppressing fire and stopping people from moving.
Also great for spraying down smokes the enemies drop as a 3-5 second moving blast will most likely tag anyone behind it.
The nerfed R8 is so much better, I can use the thing now that it's nerfed.
i'd prefer if they just removed guns that aren't being used and worked on balancing the rest

What precisely is stopping me from just tapping you through the smoke when you're waddling about producing hundreds of tracers?
You also aren't going to stop someone from moving because they can just peek into your spray and kill you whilst you get cucked by rng.

Agree. Since I only use SG and AUG they should just remove the M4 and AK.

is there anyone else who have major issues with performance after the latest patch? I keep getting frame drops from 300 to 0 every other second. and a friend of mines game crashes every few minutes.

I struggle to understand how is it possible to break FPS in an update about nerfing few guns. Its unreal
I'm happy to see the R8 damage nerf. Not so much about the increased fire delay. Granted, I haven't tested out the changes yet, but the delayed firing action felt just right. I would have rather seen that go untouched, but make it so that firing no longer automatically slows you down to a walk to increase your accuracy and reduce damage.
I was planning on getting into Global Offensive this week finally and then I heard about the new hand held anti tank pistol that got added in.

fire rate of the gun went from ~180RPM to 150RPM (primary fire). the damage decrease was welcome but making the gun take nearly half a second to fire compared to a third of a second is kinda shitty
otherwise it's too game breaking. it breaks so many aspects of the game at once.
