Can I just build and destroy shit in the single player? Or more like download other people's creations and destroy them because honestly that's all I want

It's far more fun to do it with friends though. Here's a fun game: load up a creation with 2-3 friends, grab hammers, push brooms and the no-jet playertype and destroy it. You'll need to pushbroom each other into the air to get to higher bricks unless you strategize correctly - which you probably won't.
Or play that one default rampage gamemode, it's pretty cool.

I also played the adventure mansion map, found a rocket launcher, pretty cool but blocks seem to fix themselves after some time.

What do you mean by levels? If you mean adventure maps/challenges there aren't too many public ones for download, but there is a pretty decent puzzle gamemode called [url=http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=228302.0]Castle Of Intrigue[/url].

"Actual levels" you mean actual maps? That function is now pretty much obsolete. One map is every map because you can edit the scenery, lighting and skybox. Since V20 came out it has been that way. I honestly still want to stick with V19 but there's just no way. I'd love to roll back shadows and shaders because honestly in my opinion I don't think it's "revolutionary" like all people are making it out to be.

Just remembered, you're not going to find many usable builds on the demo. There's a brick limit with it.
If you've got a work around, anything in specific you like? I can find you a bunch of builds.

But I also need a more fun way to destroy shit. How does one create a server (single player in my case) spawn houses and other things, and give themselves a weapon (and a method of flying too preferably)? Rampage mode is cool but too easy

You're in the custom gamemode, right? The standard player-type has jets which you can right click with to fly.
Also, you might want to adjust the respawn time for bricks in the minigame settings. Bricks usually respawn quick!

There is no Brick Limit anymore. Iirc you can save but not reload your creations, so you pretty much have to stick with the default builds.
Last year, a few friends of mine gathered and banded together to launch a server called the Hong Kong Night Market Freebuild.
It was immensely successful. The .bls is no longer there and this is the only image I have.
It became incredibly dense, however this is the Night Market at its beginning stages.

Good god I remember playing Blockland back in like 2004 when it first came out, it was so simple and fun to play with. Then TBM (The Better Mod) came out and I stopped playing Blockland. I officially stopped playing Blockland when it went retail and I think I quit TBM a year after that. That kind of brings back some nostalgia for me, I was around 13 when this game came out. I gotta say I am glad to see it still going.
