Blockland Megathread - Finally greenlit - Games

I've been on a hiatus for a while and getting the channel back up and running is a slow process, so I thought I'd show Facepunch the stuff I do in hopes of making it grow faster.

I'm honestly trying to make some sort of server, but it's a lot more difficult with the removal of Return to Blockland.

Hey, I downloaded the entire RTB backup and threw all the mods that seemed neat into my folder. If more than two people are interested, I'll start a FP freebuild server. Who's in?

I'm not good at building.

I'm kind of more into Speed Karts & the treasure hunt mansion than free build.

Oh okay, steam users can't host dedicated servers yet. There goes my hopes of hosting an awful, laggy, shitty server.

I can't even join any servers for this game, good I only payed 2 bucks for it.

That sounds more like a problem with your PC then anything.

I used to own this game, and ended up giving my CD-Key to my little brother so he could play it. Years later, I go to play and it turns out my key is deactivated - and when I ask him, he says he shared it with one of his online friends. Guess it's time to buy a new copy. I had ID 1198 too, dang it.

Isn't Blockland infested with a lot of little kids? It looks cool but I heard it's worse than Minecraft...

I'm thinking about running a "Market" freebuild server tomorrow - It'd be stylized like a Hong Kong Market. The last one I ran got pretty damn dense, but I don't have a lot of screenshots of it.

Sorry about the bump, but do any of you remember when Trader was around and was working on an elevator addon around the time when the game was on the 8th version but couldn't get it to work on the 9th version due to engine changes? [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML-VlKhaQuk&[/media] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiC6y9wiXnc[/media] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhFlse0S0pU[/media] [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71a03ZoyMKA[/media] (I find it kind of sad how his last video was 4 years ago, which was around the time I first signed up on this forum) I think he, Kyle and Space Guy made some pretty decent addons for its time on v8. Each of these guys did neat addons like doors, teleporters, events before v9, and Deathmatch and CTF gametypes. It was around the time where addons were usually just weapons, vehicles and decals, and it was nearly impossible to make custom bricks that weren't rectangular due to the format of the bricks.
