Why the fuck does this game not have NG+ or the ability to replay missions? You get your Masterwork Sword and Boot Stealth Blueprints on the last level of the game. What's even the frigging point?
I think you can replay chapters via the journal entries in the boat or something. I'm wondering if I should go play the rest of the Dishonored DLC while I wait for DH2 to get optimized a bit more.

Oops. Shit. (Mission 6 spoilers) [sp]Solved the riddle before doing anything else. Didn't realize that entering the mansion would end the mission right away. Missed out on so much shit. Oh well.[/sp]
I think you can replay chapters via the journal entries in the boat or something.
This was just a rumor, theres no way to replay missions without starting a totally new campaign.
Yes, unless you're talking about the challenge rooms. I think I'll play both through, both for the practice towards playing Corvo in DH2, and to know more about what's going on.
Brigmore witches and knife of dunwall are both really good
Honestly, I'd say that both of these DLCs are two of the best for any video game ever. I love Daud so much. Dishonored 2 spoilers: [sp]The ending implies he's still around and kicking too, since Billie goes off to seek him out. PLEASE bring him back Arkane I beg you. I wanna play as him again.[/sp]
How long is this game in comparison to Dishonored and how's the replayability, other than the fact that you're able to play Corvo or Emily?
Just finished it up. I really liked it. The characters are a little weak, and the story feels more like a greatest hits compilation of Dishonored missions (which isn't a bad thing, really), but the core gameplay and level design are really good. Plus, there's a ton of replay value in there.
Honestly, I'd say that both of these DLCs are two of the best for any video game ever. I love Daud so much. I hear the game has had optimisation problems, what's the oldest or weakest computer you reckon it could run on? If I can play the original Dishonored on this computer, would I be able to play Dishonored 2?
Is there a mission similar to the party mission in 1?
Is there a mission similar to the party mission in 1?
[sp]If you mean a level where you have to blend into the crowd, then not really, but there is a level where you're in a mansion while a party is happening.[/sp]

I'm on an I5 and 660 and I stupidly bought it, it runs at sub 25-30 fps if I'm lucky on all lowest, non native resolution
This was just a rumor, theres no way to replay missions without starting a totally new campaign.
I remember finding a journal book where i could travel to previous locations, but i never tried it. Will those places have nothing to do when you visit them then?
100% sure this doesnt exist the travel log only details what you did in each mission but as far as i remember you cant return to old missions
Oops. Shit. (Mission 6 spoilers) [sp]Solved the riddle before doing anything else. Didn't realize that entering the mansion would end the mission right away. I wish they didn't change the outsiders voice. I can sort of understand why they did it, to make it more "other worldly" but I felt his strangely average voice in the first one actually worked quite well, made him seem more mysterious.
Really loving this combo of quadruple-stacked swift shadow bone charm + quadruple stacked swift stalker bone charm. I'm basically a VERY fast crab scuttling at incredible hihg speed
I hope they fix the way people randomly die when you do non-lethal runs. Been hearing a lot of shit about reloading saves causing bodies to move and fall off ledges and this:
[sp]I tried that, and it still killed one of them. I investigated the Conservatory after activating the Oraculum and it turns out that it didn't knock out a witch that was still alive, it had killed a witch that was already unconscious. I reloaded a save, moved the witch's body, thinking it was some sort of geometry collision error that killed her, activated the Oraculum again, and not only did it still kill the unconscious witch, it killed a second NPC somewhere in the map as well.[/sp] This is officially super lame.
I wanted to do a non-lethal ghost run once I finished destroying the world as Emily but all these glitches and the spotty way the game handles detection is making it sound like a really unattractive prospect.
So possibly against my better judgement I bought this game, and while I'm worried about performance, I also just had another thought. I never actually played the second DLC for Dishonored 1 (though I did watch an LP of it back when it came out) and I kinda... forgot what happened during it. Does the game catch you up, does it not really matter, or should I give myself a refresher before hopping in?
they do show some lore as to how delilah came to return in the mansion mission but that's about halfway through the game

Sadly you can't have your blink hand out and get the no weapon speed boost like in D1.
Is crafting charms worth it? Also I swear I never have fucking mana, like I have enough to use the jankness that is far reach, but if I want to shadow step god forbid I have 40% mana
Oh shit, Harvey said his team are discussing NG+ implementation and the ability to replay any mission due to how popular a demand it is. Fixing the PC Port is the first priority however.

The others I don't see as having much value.
so immediately after i robbed the black market shop in the dust district, the only shop i'd robbed so far, the shopkeeper lady said "watch out, a black market shop has been robbed recently" and then proceeded to give me a discount for doing the conservatory black market side quest.
So er. [sp]I just finished a second playthrough, and for some reason, Meagan's arm and eye miraculously healed. I think I'm missing something here.[/sp]
