Dishonored Series Thread V1: "Take Back What's Yours"

Apparently when I put a guard down inside Stilton's manor, his fat head broke through a wood partition and he died.
Fuck you too game.
So I guess I fucked up on mission 8 [sp]I tried to keep those two sailors alive from the beginning of the level by knocking them out and hiding them so the grand guard wouldn't find them when they stole their stuff. Later went back and found them dead anyway, but then at the end of the mission they were counted as kills. [/sp]
Guess I got to load a save and redo it.
Ever since it updated last night, Dishonored 2 keeps breaking my resolution, black screening and sets my steam overlay to 4k resolution on a 1080p monitor.
Jindosh Non-Lethal Spoilders
[sp]I felt so bad after blowing his brain, the things he would mumble like he couldn't understand what happened to him and he just wants to die.[/sp]

This was the only truly cruel Non-Lethal option in my opinion. They were SUPER lacking in Dishonored 2.
The first game had many good ones. Some worse than death.
yeah like the pendleton ones

[SP] It seems he is starting to slowly recover his senses anyway judging by the recording in the duke's office.[/sp]
I'm on the fence about buying Dishonored 2 or not. How long is it compared to the first one?

Main game, 8hrs - 9hrs give or take. Main + Extras - 18hrs. Completionist - 35hrs or more.
Isn't every non-lethal "death" awful?
poor lady boyle
Apparently there's an indication in the 2nd game that she comes out of that fine.
The guards reciting their ABC's has me in stitches every time.
"Asks me if I can read... Of course I can read! I know my letters... And then some..."

[sp]Well the Crown Killer one is nice, you save a lady from being a scary monster[/sp]
I've been on the fence on buying ever since I heard about the issues with framerate. Is it all fixed now?
Right, so I've done mission 8 three times now trying to get a nonlethal rating and for some reason there's at least one or two people added to my tally and I can't figure out why. Hopefully this is something that gets fixed in the update next week

I did the whole of Attermire non-lethal + ghosted and I still ended up with 1. Pretty sure it's just freak accidents or AI fuck-ups.
Though there was one incident where I shot a sting bolt at a guard and the guy managed to fall off a ledge or something.
I threw a bottle at the end of Addermire to distract the guards so I could disable the watchtower, and after turning to see where the sound came from an elite guard fell to his death from the wooden platform he was standing on.
I had 5 people die in my non-lethal play through, and I didn't kill a single one of them. It is silly that you get marked for it. Two died from rats due to something I couldn't have known about in advance. One was a knocked out guy that a single blood fly came out of nowhere and found. One level I had a kill marked and I had no idea who or where it happened. The last one was a guy that spontaneously died, I knocked him out with a bottle to the head. On my way out of the level, he was dead (despite having been unconscious earlier).
domino also likes to randomly murder people when i use sleep darts sometimes
Anyone have an issue where the game will just randomly crash to desktop without any error or event in event viewer?
I can't even replicate the crash it's so random. Sometimes it'll happen within 5 minutes of playing, other times I can play for an hour with no problem. Switched to the beta patch and it's still happening.

By the watchtower? Same thing happened to me, except I shot a guy with a sleepdart, although it ricocheted of his helmet (which was pretty cool) and the sound startled the officer who fell to his death

Speaking of death, here's this:

Technically spoilers but I'm sure you could guess what happens at the very end of the game

How do you even pull this one off? I spent ages running around that place and nothing I picked up seemed to suggest a non-lethal suggestion.
I'm glad I decided to go without the Wallhack power in D2. It trivialized stealth in D1.

[sp]Check the body in the room opposite from where she is when you first go in. He'll either be alive or dead depending on if you startled her or not.[/sp]
I finished chapter 3 thinking I had collected everything
Got to the end screen and apparently I missed literally half of everything
That HAS to mean there's another level entirely that I didn't even go to, right? Because with the heart out, I saw nothing. Are there runes that don't show up when you have the heart out?
Jeeze, if you got a really good bonecharm, crafting with certain perks could super break the game
Tfw the game crashes and corrupts your entire non lethal playthrough.
why
I get the impression Harvey Smith hates people who do non lethal runs and has made it damn near impossible
Beat the game yesterday. Now I'm gonna try a Corvo play through on very hard, stealth, no kills, no knock outs (except for story npcs), and no powers.
RIP ME already on the asylum mission I'm so fucked.
