Game seems to run fine for me.
On that note, this happened:

"Key Figure Assassinated"
Yep.
Anyone else killing everything?

I keep trying to do a non-lethal run but then the temptation to throw unconscious people into fountains of flesh-devouring fish or a group of starved rats or off the highest cliff possible to reach overwhelms me and I just end up doing that instead. it's really hard to the point where I pull off some ridiculous stuff to justify lethal, like shooting someone on a ledge with a sleeping dart praying that he just stumbles off it and crashes into the ground.
I'm going high chaos lethal corvo my first run. Will eventually work my way to ghost/no kills/no powers
High chaos Corvo here too, trying to ghost though as I think lethal ghosting is easier than non-lethal
Apparently the game is much harder than the first, so I'll see how it goes, might get frustrating
Is it true that you can tell the Outsider to fuck off at the start?
How lenient is Dishonored 1 with giving out Chaos for kills? I kinda bungled in the High Overseer mission in a couple places.
It'll take far more than a few kills in single mission to get the high chaos ending. There's various actions you can do to lower it as well. You pretty much have to go hyper murder to get high chaos.
Good, I planned on leaving wanton murder for a second playthrough.

What is his reaction?

He's just like [sp]"Oh. Well then, another surprise. So be it."[/sp]
I just finished Mission 7, so far I've been enjoying it. My biggest complaint would have to be with Emily's character. She's a bit of a Mary Sue, but whatever, I'll be trying out Corvo on my next playthrough. Her powers are pretty cool.

Corvo is kinda the same. I love emily's powers tho. Cept long reach, its clunky at the best of time and a pain to even get it to grab anything above her head. Worst yet it can cause the physics system to freak out. As a small grab where i hit a barrel sent me to the moon.
In terms of story it was meh. I actually tranq'd most the of bosses without even realizing they were the bosses since there wasn't anything really special about any of them

Yeah, whenever I use long reach with the descent (or whatever it's called) perk I never end up where I think I'm going to end up.
I think long reach is a pretty fun power to use. Not a useful power compared to Corvo's blink, but a fun one to fuck around with, especially launching myself around.
i once far reached a man across the court in the past aramis mansion and he survived despite slamming into like 3 walls
a bit earlier a guy got knocked unconscious by a dart and fell onto a table, broke it and died
[editline]s[/editline]
idk how but somehow i was allowed to use abilities in the mansion until my game crashed
Wow Arkane, so much for the whole re-worked Chaos system.
I completed EVERY SINGLE MISSION bar the last one with low Chaos, but because I went like 2 enemies over the threshold in the very last one, I get the bad "cynical" ending and the "Empire in Chaos" achievement.
ok
reworked chaos my ass
they changed jack shit on the chaos system
I spent about an hour trying to solve that god damn [sp]Jindosh Riddlelock[/sp] and I didn't even get an achievement for doing it. What gives?
it changes per playthrough too so your last answer wont be the same
if you give one of the two dumbasses the other guy's corpse they'll give you the answer
I'm slowly starting to realize that your greatest enemy in a non-lethal ghost run isn't the guards themselves, but the canned lines they dispense every 30 seconds. After hearing for the 15th time about a guard having an STD or his uniform itching you just want to kill them.
Really wish there was an option to turn those off or at least a slider to adjust their frequency.
shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight

I believe so.
Thanks game, I was trying to solve a puzzle for a safe and you just gave me the answer when I went to look at the notes again
Great
Am I blind or are there no options for Subtitles? I also like hearing the guards do their Alphabets.
Subtitles are in Audio options!

I noticed that, it was like the game gave me one note, and there was a note next to the safe, but instead of letting me put 2 and 2 together it just handed me the 4 and told me the exact code to my face in the journal. No satisfaction whatsoever
I should give you the tip if you open the note like 3 times or something
So, I've been playing through the Knife of Dunwall because I heard that the DLC for D1 is important for D2's plot.
Lethal ghost on the last level, I was saving the other assassins, and there's one point where there are 3 overseers, all facing towards the assassin, so that you can't kill any without alerting the others. One of them has a grenade, and after 30 seconds or so says to the assassin, "I'm about to pull the pin".
As he throws the grenade I stop time, blink into the middle of the overseers, grab the grenade, chuck it away, and blink back onto a rooftop. Time starts again, and I look around to see if I was spotted as I supernaturally redirected a grenade mid-flight in front of their very eyes.
Listening with baited breath, I hear:
"Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?"
"Indeed, I believe so."
They then start randomly walking around in the back alleys, so I can pick them off at my leisure and untie the assassin afterwards.
What is this game :v:
