How do you expect to get the human assault working without the source code? The model is not broken, by the way. It was compiled that way. Also [b]laylay[/b], stop with the dumb ratings and get lost. We know you're still butthurt.

To fix the Grunt ( My Mistake on my part) the heavy_grunt would be a great port for like seven coop. (or any other mod) or, a beta mod. :}
You can edit the animation names using a Hex Editor. It doesn't really matter. I doubt we'll ever get to see the source code for Half-Life, so don't get your hopes high. Sven Coop already have their own version of human assault, what's wrong with it? Looks like [b]laylay[/b] is still butthurt. Huh, i have been messing around in alpha just now, and I noticed that there is a destructable wall in c1a1b, that allows you to bypass water puzzle it also plays quake "secred found" sound when destroyed I would post a screenshot, but I have no idea how to make one Just load c1a1b and spam granades around the walls until you will found it
It's supposed to work the other way around. There're two explosive canisters (which was not completed at the time) inside the lab. Here's a picture of it (before and after): [img]http://i.imgur.com/iMxehSn.jpg[/img]

I throw a grenade at the canisters to check it they are breakable, and then I loaded the map to check if you can active it from the other side. Not a snowball's chance in hell. Especially if it is a rare occurance that a binary anything for the alpha [B]was just discovered 16 years later [/B] Even then it won't have a fixed hassault. If the disc were corrupt as per your theory, somehow corrupting the code for him conveniently in a specific sector, the game wouldn't even run. HeHe, but anyway there should be a way to restore the huds weapon selection {like seen in Gabes video} also what kinda throws me off, the Green hud. its used in the armless mp5 alpha. but not in this one witch is much newer than that build.
The weapon selection HUD isn't implemented in enginegl. Use the software renderer. The "armless mp5 green hud" actually came later.

The armless mp5 can be seen in the first trailer together with the dark glasses scientist and the little blue panthereye [IMG]http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090506202020/half-life/en/images/0/0f/Panther_eye-scientist.jpg[/IMG] , i also think that the white bullchicken [IMG]http://images.wikia.com/half-life/en/images/7/7d/Bullchicken_white.jpg[/IMG] is in that version too.

Swore I saw an armless mp5 in a 1998 preview, but I knew the green hud was later. They had updated their blood decals to final by the time they had that. Opening up Player.mdl in yy-chr shows a texture resembling Barney's clothes, so it could be a different Barney or possibly a Barney with different animations.
