How do I launch this in 1280x1024? Bring on the laughs.
maximum you can launch it at is 1280x720. add -width 1280 to your bat.
Thank you
maximum you can launch it at is 1280x720.
-width 1920 -height 1080 works just fine for me
how to you run it in software mode?
how to you run it in software mode?
Switch desktop color depth to 16 bits.
It's a shame there isn't s simple compatibility option for that, feels unnecessary going through all that for 16 bits.
It's from a time when 16bpp desktop color depth was common for 3d cards to not throw up any invalid pixel format errors because most of them didn't support 24/32bpp color. Namely 3dfx. That and Scitech MGL was considered one of the only good video abstraction layers for the then immature DirectX.
You can edit the animation names using a Hex Editor. It doesn't really matter. I doubt we'll ever get to see the source code for Half-Life, so don't get your hopes high. Sven Coop already have their own version of human assault, what's wrong with it? Looks like laylay is still butthurt. I loaded the maps in retail half-life and the second map played a music track
I loaded the maps in retail half-life and the second map played a music track
in 1997 they announced what would become an award winning shooter title and 15 years later we got the music to work
You can thank Windows 7 for regressing MCI CD audio playback
You can thank Windows 7 for regressing MCI CD audio playback
windows 7 is most likely the best iteration of windows i've ever seen
I loaded the maps in retail half-life and the second map played a music track
I was playing the alpha with Half-Life's CD in coincidentally, I'm thinking of burning the soundtrack to a disc and playing with that unless someone has a trick that works with image mounters.
I would pay money to see Quiver: Source also here's zoidberg for no reason :zoid:
I would pay money to see Quiver: Source also here's zoidberg for no reason :zoid:
I'm not well versed with HL1's development; do we know enough about Quiver for that to be possible?
The most we could is rebuild alpha maps on the source engine, we couldn't effectively have a story or sense of direction without seeing a ton more work. I wouldn't mind at least seeing the alpha fixed up for gldsrc. Though at this point is still mostly a quake mod, so it might be better to repair what exists.
or you can just wait for Arrowhead. It is now on Source. http://s281.beta.photobucket.com/user/TehBarnz/library/arrowhead

Ivan is a scientist who, along with several of this colleagues, is tasked with testing an enormous prototype machine capable of producing gateways to alternate dimensions. An accident occurs in the main threshold generator and causes the machine to transport aliens and monsters into the facility. i'm out of ideas Edited: also the HEV suit would be named something else
It could be the "Hazardous Research suit" Because of the big RESEARCH on the back of ivans suit
Maybe SRS: Specialized Research Suit
Maybe SRS: Specialized Research Suit
I think this is the wrong series to do serious puns in.
